Strawberry and The Soul Reapers

Great book my son loved

Back in my nerdy teenage days I went through the whole bleach saga! Luckily this never goes out of fashion. Purchased as a gift for a 14 year old boy who expressed he like anime/manga and was getting into graphic novels. Safe to say that after this gift I was considered a very cool aunt!!! Win for everyone!

This was my first Manga ever, and let me tell you, this is definitely the best choice for beginners! The story is very simple with a good mix of comedy and action. There are a few 13+ jokes in there so definitely a teen read (being 13 myself) You get very attached to the characters! Couldn't put it down! I ordered on a Thursday and was expected on a Monday, it came on the Saturday! TWO DAYS! No flaws in the book, definitely legitimate. Read from, right to left, was very easy to get used to. Some points get a bit complex, partially because sounds in Japanese are different from the English ones and they have words for them (THE BOOK IS IN ENGLISH THOUGH, THE SOUNDS ARE PART OF THE MANGA AMD CAN'T BE TRANSLATED) All in all, AMAZING

Ichigo Kurosaki is an ordinary high school student in all respects except one; he can see the spirits of the dead. One night he and his family are attacked by a monstrous spirit but he is saved when the Soul Reaper Rukia Kuchiki intervenes and lends him some of her powers. However, something goes wrong with the transfer and Ichigo drains Rukia of all her powers and becomes a fully fledged Soul Reaper. Ichigo must now learn to accept his calling as a Soul Reaper and protect the innocent from the spirits of the dead. I am a great fan of the Bleach anime series and as I am now starting to slowly get into manga as well I thought I could do far worse than read this, and thankfully the manga is just as good as, if not better than, the anime. This first volume is everything that the anime is and more, it is interesting, funny and engrossing. The art is good, as is the plot and the writing is very good. I am greatly looking forward to reading more of the series.

This Manga is one of my favourites of all. If you haven't read it then you are in for a treat. The art work is fantastic and the storyline is amazing. You'll soon be buying the next one.

Came in great condition

This was my third Manga i have read, my first being Fullmetal Alchemist and Naruto, both of which are quite original. This is not so original as the other two, but is still a bit. The 'Good Spirit' vs. 'Bad Spirit' theme is a bit old.

O produto chegou em ótimas condições. Uma pena que veio com um amassadinho, mas é quase imperceptível, porém, para quem coleciona pode dar um pouco de toc. Enfim, é Bleach, não tem muito o que dizer, é uma ótima obra

It was more nostalgic then a read for me.

Exactly same as the TV show. Find the print in some the panels are bit hard to read since can't adjust the font. However can zoom in needed to read the smaller print.
