I just lay on my bed,close my eyes and envision the ocean, which is a calming idea for me. The Ocean drum sits on my hand easliy, and the gentle motion of my hand makes the beads move, vibrating my hand just a bit. Puts me to sleep!

Nice add on to my Soundbaths - it’s very sensitive so you really have to move it slow for better effect

This is a pretty cool instrument, and when swirled sounds just like the ocean. It has, however, so many other sounds that can be produced by way of shaking or rolling the beads in different ways, or by tapping the drum head. I wish it had a case though. The drum head seems delicate.

Looks exactly as pictured and is a wonderful complement to my table top fountain. Great value

Was purchased just for fun but it’s great

Relative to its price, this is a nice little drum. It has some volume, and you can play on either side. I am just learning to play frame drum, so this is a fun little drum to play with. It is made with just standard materials, nothing exotic, but it seems to be put together nicely, and relative to its construction it is made well. There are different ways to play it... swirly, to get the woosh sound of the beads, or tapping to get a percussive shaker type sound. In the hands of someone who knows how to play frame drum, I am sure they could get this to sound pretty good.

This wave drum is so interesting. I’ve never seen an instrument like this before. It is very good quality and the “wave” sound is so relaxing. I can do this for hours and put myself to sleep.

This drum was reasonably priced and absolutely sounded like ocean waves.I used it in my sound bath class to enhance the experience for the students who attended and they all loved it!
