HIKEAMN Gas Stove Windshield is a really functional, looks good and is well finished with no sharp edges. The weight and the shelf act together to ensure it is stable. Other wind shields I have used tend to blow around or need constant attention to secure them even in moderate winds.I have two portable stoves with gas bottles (Halford's type) and find they are better than having one twin burner because you can use Korean BBQ and larger pans at the same time. That does mean having to buy two shields but each is large enough to take these utensils.I found none of the reported problems in assembly of either unit and unless you have received a faulty unit I would say that it should not be a problem for people with average dexterity. Fold out the shield and attach the left hand side of the shelf with the tab facing downwards. Then work clockwise around the shield fastening the each tab in turn. The back tabs slide in easily but the last tab on the right side may need a little bit of jiggling (not force) to insert because the whole unit is more rigid. It only took less than 15 seconds on first assembly and once you see how it goes together is much quicker. I would not recommend as some have suggested bending the tabs.ConsThe price. It is much more expensive than the stove it shields. With less decoration it could have been made cheaper and just as functional. If I could have found a similar design cheap I would have bought that instead as I would be using it wild camping and looks are not so important. However, having set it up and seen how stable I am pleased the purchase.

Game changer when cooking outside.. protects cooker from wind but also solid construction so it doesn't fall over or wobble.. has shelf for putting mugs or small items on.. ideal for camping.. folds flat and about A4 size although is heavy, so not for backpack..

Good design and quality. If the top part could be fixed the performance would be better and it would stay firmly in the winds.I use it for my camper van, so I don’t care about the weight. If you are going to carry it in a backpack, it’s too heavy.

This is a heavy quality item. Works great as a windshield for a camping cooker. Very sturdy due to the material and thickness this is made from. The shelf adds greater stability as well in addition to extra space for mugs etc.

Been using it for the past year, at least once a week (I often cook outside and it is quite windy). Does the job!

Not used yet but this is a quality piece a must have for campers, only downside is it’s quite heavy but I guess that’s the quality in the product

Bought this as wind protection for larger stoves when car camping. It comes in its own bag, but it is heavy, which is what you want in a windbreak. It has a small shelf attachment but in truth I don't think it adds much to the package. With it off you can set the four hinged plates to whatever configuration gives best protection. Pricey, but very solid and has already proved its worth is windy conditions. Recommended.
