Expect to spend extra money to make these useable
If you're stuck between these gloves and a different pair, buy the other pair. These aren't worth the price by a longshot.I purchased these because I tend to like Alpinestars gear and had pairs of their gloves in the past that I really liked. This is not one of those. For $140 I expected them to actually function as advertised. Very disappointing.Pros:-Very protective-Look goodCons:-Uncomfortable - I had to purchase a throttle assist paddle just to wear these gloves without getting blisters. The right hand glove bunches up under your palm which means you either constantly try to adjust it or give up and power through the pain. I've started to develop calluses so they're not as painful as they used to be.-Terrible Touch capabilities - these are advertised as being touch compatible with phones on the index finger. They're not. They work about 5% of the time on screens, and I wish that was an exaggeration. I'm debating getting the touch sensitivity spray to make them work better.-Hotter than expected - They do have vents/air holes but since the only color they really offer for women is black, any heat you lose from the vents is quickly gained back from the sun.-Stupid expensive for this poor of performance/qualityTLDR: Expensive, uncomfy, don't function as advertised. If safety is your number one concern and price isn't an issue, these might be for you. Otherwise, expect to spend extra money to make these useable.
