my new Dell computer came with only a single USB-C slot- & used it for power. thus no usb C available for any other use.. It is the only USB-C slot on that computer. It should have come with a round power connector, which this adapter fixed the problem for.

These have been the absolute worst product I have purchased from Amazon.I purchased two, neither of which worked. The seller sent me two replacements. Each work for about three month.And of course, now I cannot replace or refund.

It's kind of a shame that I needed to order this. I don't know why Dell doesn't ship a power cord with the tube connector. This corrected that problem and freed up my Thunderbolt port.

I rescued a Dell OptiPlex Micro 3080 from the tech recycling bin at work. Unfortunately, it did not come with a power adapter. I bought this product so that I could use a standard 65w, USB-C laptop adapter to power it. It works perfectly. I didn't experience any error messages or issues with the product disconnecting. This was an easy, cheap alternative to the OEM power adapter Dell wanted to charge and arm and a leg for.
