This is a wonderful insight into an artists journey of discovery, follow Phil's adventures, his ideas, his uniqueness,Phil has a style of his own, and is becoming quite expressive, and popular with what he does.

Celebrating creativity and the pursuit of the joy of art, this diverse collection of drawings and paintings, largely based on scenes, portraits, pets and more, describes Phil's artistic journey really well. His short introduction at the beginning is honest and encouraging and the whole book has a really inclusive vibe. There are some gems inside and it's clear to see how much Phil has enjoyed exploring a variety of approaches and techniques. Hopefully Phil's work will encourage us all to draw and paint more.

Well done phill, you should be applauded for your excellent efforts. You really captured each picture with great detail and your own unique style. Best of luck, hope to see more books with your artwork in the future.

What a gem of a find. This book provides great artwork and insight behind the artist’s process. During the global lockdown, many people discovered new outlets for creativity and ways to fill the empty time. Some baked, some took up an instrument. From the small town of Leicestershire, England, Philip W. Cox discovered a love for sketching and painting, which he now shares with the world in this collection.This book contains more than 100 pieces of art, all created by Philip. He paints the world he sees and interprets other people’s photographs. The result is a portfolio very reminiscent of Picasso, with abstract portraits and landscapes created by this talented artist.Big kudos to Amazon for giving Philip and others a platform to self-publish, allowing their work to be shared around the world. I cannot wait for volume two and hope Philip’s work can be turned into larger prints, so they can be displayed in museums, where they belong.
