Osti Original Replacement Wires for Osti Cheese slicers

The order arrived as detailed - three in the pack.Yes, it is a fiddle to get the wire back on to the tool itself, but it does fit ... eventually!Very happy to have it mended.

the wires come in packs of 3. there is no size problem, so they all fit the cheese cutter, just nicely

I had to wait a bit as this was an add on item, so I had to wait until I could purchase. So easy to replace and the fact it has three means it will be good for hopefully some time. I may be a bit heavy handed with it, so now I will take it easier as not to snap the wire again so quick. Highly recommended.

Great replacement wires and even work on hard cheese like cheddar. It's best to let the cheese get to room temperature before using it on cheddar as the knot comes undone quicker when the cheese is straight from the fridge.

Does the trick, thin or thick slices depending on which side you use.

I'd been looking for a long time to find replacement wires for my WMF slicer and these fit perfectly. Very happy!

Don’t last very long before they break, original one broke as well so guessing it’s just not a great product initially.

It's a spare cheese wire, nothing to add. Fitted correctly, extra 2 spares should out last my ability to use it! Designed for softer cheeses but handles Cheddar etc.

I was disappointed when the included wire on my Osti broke after less than 30 days...but I'm still on the first wire from this three-pack, and it's going strong after months.I almost always use this to slice mild cheddar. I've taken to keeping a finger pressed against the back side of the wire just above where it inserts into the handle, to help reduce stress on the weakest point. I'm not sure if I just had a bad wire to begin with or if the finger to reduce lateral flex/stress makes that much difference. I'm sure it helps anyway.
