BU-KO 26 cc Lightweight 3.5kg - Top Handled Petrol Chainsaw | 3 Chains and 10" Bar Included | Cover Bag and Full Safety Gear

Bought this chainsaw when we moved to our new home, because we had a lot of trees to maintain and cut down. I did not want my husband having a accident with one of the large one so we opted for BU-KO 26cc small chainsaw uses 12” chain. From 1st first day we had this out it’s work great and cuts perfect and we have continued all through lockdown and now have many piles of logs for our fire. Because of the size it’s easy to hold and not too heavy and Excellent value for money. We are very impressed at our much we have used this each day and it’s still performing very well it’s one of our top tools We have purchased and made tiding up the new garden easy.👍😊

This is so far I’ve been a good purchase a good little saw. I have bought ones like this in the past but this seems to be better quality. It comes with a few different extras including safety gear which is unusual three spare chains two-stroke oil ,a cover and a few bits and bobs has seen in the video Would recommend this seller and good price with a super fast delivery to here to Ireland. "I wanted a small, cheap, top bar for light work. I’m also running a Stihl and a McCulloch long bar for the bigger stuff. This little gem, just under 26cc, lightweight and easy to start. Once you work out how to put it together this is a great little chainsaw with loads of extras in the box. I bought this to replace a larger electric chainsaw and this is so much better and easier to use. Setup instructions could be better but once assembled it's a powerful, lightweight little workhorse.

The saw for the price is almost perfect. One thing I would say is change the cheap plug immediately for a ngk bpm7a plug. Well worth it. I use the saw professionally and is great and for price if it does 3 to 6 months and brakes. Easy get a new one. It has 3 chains with it and a good tool set. I use it on tree and hedge reductions with no issues. Honestly the price of this saw is less than a service on a stihl and less than a service.

The saw starts easy and cuts well. What I didn't realise is that the handle is attached to the body with just 3 screws into plastic. So when I pulled on it slightly after it got stuck it just fell apart. I managed to paycheck it back together but the intake manifold is not bolted on to the cylinder , it's a glue on rubber piece which can't be reattached. There is zero chance of finding spares I found out. So yes it's a great little saw if you treat it like it was made of bone China. And yes, I do realise it's ridiculously cheap.

As garden chainsaws go, it is adequate for most small jobs if you are not going to use it very often. Problem is that I'm not sure how it will leaving it unused for log periods will affect it. It's not too robust either, so regular use might be an issue. I've still not quite got it set up for a first-pull start. Starting might be quite strenuous for some. If you are unfamiliar with chainsaws and are not very mechanically minded, this product probably isn't for you. I had to shorten the string on the pull start. Once pulled, the string would wrap itself back up but would bunch up higher than the walls of the pulley wheel and drop off. You have to remove the Magneto cover (instructions not great) wrap the string back around the pulley. You may need to re-position and reset the pulley wheel if it jumps off it's spring. The screw heads to the screws holding the lightweight but soft plastic magneto cover to the body, were too small. To stop them pulling through I used small metal washers. You will need to adjust the tick-over and run speed, otherwise your chain will either constantly run or creep (both of these situations are not safe. Releasing the chain-brake is a two handed job and requires quite a bit of force. So if you are used to setting the brake every time you put down your chainsaw and you put it down often, this will frustrate you. You'll be tempted not to bother but the Top trigger means you could run your chain when you pick up the saw; might not be too good. It cuts well once running and is light but there is no way to change the grab handle over to the other side if you are Left Handed and need to use both hands to cut.

The order was delivered before the due date and came with many more extras than was on the description which was well received. The unit was not easy to put together, especially the chain and blade, but eventually was completed and works very well. It is essential to read the instructions, especially on safety. It is good value for money
