I typically buy expensive hobby sponges from Tamiya but these are far more superior. I’ve been working with a lot of Resin Prints from my Mars 3 printer and these sponges are excellent. This are super durable compared to Tamiya’s of the same grit. The grit lasts at least 3 times longer and I have yet to have the grit rip off from the sponge; which is a common occurrence compared to Tamiya’s. These were much cheaper and work so much better. I’ll be buying these again for future purchases of sanding sponges.

Perfect for the job and exactly what I needed. I was modifying a newer Singer extension table for my older Singer HD 4452. The new table had two small Tabs sticking out on the inner sides that created a gap against the flush nose of my machine. I was able to snip off most of the tabs with some sharp jewelry snips, then I used my Dremel tool to grind down the excess and then these fine sanding sponges to give the plastic a super smooth finish. I’m very happy with these sponges and my new extension table set up on my machine.

These sanding sponges are a must have for any modeler. I use them all the time on projects.

These work great for automotive sanding and paint refinishing. I suggest using wet as they seem more aggressive than most when used dry. Would definitely purchase again

This was my second purchase. I did not expect Spongy Sandpaper to be so incredibly useful.

Using for sewing machine refurbishing. Graduated fineness will be so helpful to achieve a high shine. The price was very reasonable.

These are a great quality sanding sponge. Bought them to sand my resin prints. They offer different grit sizes and form to the surface of the print to help achieve the results I’m looking for. The value for what you get I think is fair and I can get a lot of uses out of these as they’re able to be cut. I recommend these if you’re looking for sanding sponges with a high grit.

They work fine in cleaning up large surfaces, for instance rescribed panel lines on a 32nd scale Corsair kit. Can be cut into smaller pieces, and are flexible enough to do the inside of the canopy after thinning out the thickness of the edges. Would be nice to have even finer mesh but they do the job well. Always use them wet, they will last longer that way.

These pads are a perfect size for sanding tight areas. Very bendy and sturdy. Use them for finishing my wooden items made on my lathe.

Diese Schleifschwämme habe ich mir speziell für den Modellbau geholt. Da bei den Plastikmodellen von GW z.B. sehr häufig unschöne Moldlines sind die vor dem Bemalen weg müssen. Sie sind auch günstiger als diverses Konkurrenzprodukte. Die Schwämme haben den Vorteil dass sie sich sehr gut an die gebogenen Flächen anpassen. Fazit: Kann ich jedem sehr empfehlen der Wert auf saubere Modelle legt. Kein Muss aber ein tolles nice-to-have.
