This mat looks a thousand times better than a wet dish towel on the counter, but it is fragile. It stains very easily and I believe this fad will pass for that reason. It’s true that it dries almost instantly.

Love this and use multiple times each day for handwashing my dishes that I don’t run through the dishwasher. Only thing is it stains some but usually cleans up if I submerge in water with some bleach for a few minutes and then rinse and set to dry.

I'm generally pleased with the Stone Dish Drying Mats for Kitchen Counter, as they have proven to be ultra-absorbent, fast-drying, non-slip, and heat-resistant, making them a convenient addition to my kitchen. However, I have noticed that they tend to stain quite easily, which is a bit disappointing. Despite this drawback, the mats still function effectively and have not lost their absorbency or durability. While the staining issue is a downside, it's manageable with regular cleaning and maintenance. Overall, I would rate these mats four stars for their practicality and performance, with the caveat that they require a bit more attention to keep them looking pristine.

I really wanted to love this product. It was beautiful, and thought it would work similarily to the stone dry bath mats I have. HOWEVER, after about 2 months of use it became discolored, started accumulating what I believe to be mold spots (see picture) and is unable to be cleaned. No longer absorbed water after a few uses either.

Love how this looks when it’s new but it gets ring stains very easily. They also give you a small piece of sandpaper but that doesn’t really do anything with the stains.

Overall I do love this product however it’s a bit smaller than I expected especially for the price. It looks like a marble but it’s an earthy type of texture. I love the way this looks on my counter compared to other dish racks! It absorbs water wonderfully and dries very quickly! It comes with these 3M stickies to put on the bottom of the board so that it’s not laying flat. Very easy to clean. I haven’t had it for long so I can’t speak on others that talk about the staining, but I cleaned it with blue Dawn soap and it still looks brand new (:
