Easy seal
I love that I have a product I can close with ease. I have joint issues in my hands and fingers that make it almost impossible to close ordinary reusable zip bags. This is so easy. Love that

Freezer to microwave....!
I got these because you can nuke them...freezer to microwave with no steps in between. I filled mine with some lentil curry and froze them. Then, when I wanted a quick lunch, I took a bag out of the freezer and placed it directly in the microwave. Nuke it for 5 minutes and had a hot lunch.I was sick of freezing food in ziploc bags, then trying to get that frozen lump of food out of that bag (as they aren't microwavable) before nuking the food. The bags always stuck to the food and I'd have to rip them off, dump the frozen mass into a bowl, then throw out the ziploc. The hassle was getting to me. These are the answer to my frustration. The zipper area is very thick, you'll be surprised at how thick it is compared to regular bags. But I also found it much, much easier to close and you can really tell when it's closed, it's obvious. Then after I used them I stood them upside down over the prongs in the cup area of my dishwasher. I impaled them sideways so that three or so prongs were inside the bag holding them open. They came out perfect.I'm sold on these. They save me steps and money and save the planet all at the same time.

Too bulky and hard to fill
I tried to like these silicone bags but they are not very practical or easy to handle. First out of the box, opening these bags was a bit annoying as the silicone sticks to itself making opening annoying. Also filing the bags a just as annoying because whatever you are trying to put in also sticks to the sides. Right from the get go, no good. I then filled with water and sealed the bag and it was leak proof for the most part toll you squeeze the bag a bit and the seals burst open. In addition i don’t see how you can even use these in the dish washer. Washing them wastes more water. Maybe I can find some other use for these, but not what i thought they would be.

Safely Store Your Food While Simultaneously Reducing Your Carbon Footprint With Each Use
Bumkins Silicone Reusable Sandwich and Snack Bags helps you store your food while simultaneously reducing your carbon footprint with each use. The first time I saw the lime green colored bags in person, I was impressed with how thick and sturdy each bag is. The manufacturer designed the opening area cleverly as there is a slight cut out at the top which makes opening the bag incredibly easy. I found that my kiddos, my folks, and I were able to open and seal the bags effortlessly. Once the bags were open, the insides of the bags stuck to themselves and required me to separate prior to filling. I'm hoping that after longer use this specific detail will not occur in the future. The manufacturer marked a maximum fill line on both bags ensuring that the user does not overfill the bags thereby ensuring the bags seal and do not pop open unexpectedly. The bags can be written on with a dry erase marker which is a detail that I appreciated when storing cut vegetables in the fridge. I have used the bags to place cut fruit and vegetables, berry medleys, candy, and sandwiches. The bags kept all the food safe and I have not found either bag open without me knowing about it. They are made with 100% food-safe platinum silicone. It is easy to hand wash and air dry on a rack. The manufacturer noted that bags are dishwasher, freezer, and microwave safe. It is Made in China. The manufacturer also noted that one reusable bag can replace up to 500 single-use plastic storage bags per family per year. When it comes to price, I feel it is worth the investment based on the high quality material used to make the bags, how well it kept food protected, and knowing that the bags are built to last and be reused for a long time.

Great quality
The Bumkins silicone reusable bags are very strong silicone with a great seal. At first I thought it was very expensive for only two bags; one sandwich and one snack size, however when I look at other products that offer 8 to 10 bags for the same price or less, I see that a lot of them easily rip and don't hold their seal. The bumkin bags are very thick silicone and they feel very durable. The instructions included indicate to wash with unscented dish soap, however on the product listing page it lists you can wash the bags in your dishwasher. Dishwasher detergent is not unscented so it is a little confusing. When I received it, I put literally a drop of dishwashing soap in the bags, rinsed it really well and turned it inside out to dry.A great quality product that I would purchase again.

sticky
The media could not be loaded. i really wanted to like this product because it’s a great deal. the sizes are great, OUTTER material is great & thick. the only thing that is not so great is the INNER material. it’s sticky, it sticks to itself. when food is inside the bad, it’s not bad at all so that’s good.
