Are these polarity sensitive? I have an issue of feedback to my instrument cluster turn indicators when I hit my brakes.

If it is only the turn signal indicators, and your brake lights are also used as rear turn signal lights, then you need to do one of the following: A) Install load resistors. B) Replace your turn signal flasher with one that is designed to be used with LED bulbs. C) Go back to using incandescent bulbs. There is different issue: With some LED bulbs that replace two filament incandescent bulbs, when you hit the brakes, some current feeds back into the tail light circuit. This can result in current flowing to the front parking lights, the side marker lights, and the instrument cluster back light. If this is your problem, you can do one of these things: A) Go back to incandescent bulbs. B) Try to replace these LED bulbs with a model designed to avoid this problem. C) Have someone design and install a circuit with diodes to block the feedback.

What is the total height of this bulb, including the base?

Not sure with the height, i didnt measure it. All i know is its the same size of the stock bulb on my elantra 2010

why do the product pictures show 2 clearly different products? I want the ones in the box picture which say red intense not the bottom picture

In the box it comes 2 identical 1157 red led bulbs. Theu are not different bulbs.
