Very tasty, good texture.

I searched a lot for Beluga lentils in supermarkets/health food shops and they were difficult to find. These were relatively cheap and good quality. They don't need a lot of cooking, ready after 16-18min of boiling and very nutritious. Also 27g of protein in 100g of lentils. That is an amazing protein content. The king of lentils!

Great value for these lentils - you need to pick them through a bit as you get the old grain of wheat in there - but as a family favourite in salads this is a far more economical way to buy.

Great product, great flavour & texture. I no longer use pasta and potatoes some of my favourite foods, but didn't help my weight. I keep 4 days supply in the fridge cooked with a few stock cubes for 25 minutes and use it as a base for most of my meals and snacks, with grated carrots - apples - gherkins and/or freshly grated turmeric and chopped ginger and different types of dressings hot or cold. Depending on my mood, I also use if with fresh pineapple and other fruits and veggies enjoy. Eat SMALL portions 2 hrs apart throughout the day & lost a stone in weight.

This was my second order. My previous order lasted for a long time. It tastes good and good for you too. Arrived on time as advised.

These beluga lentils are excellent value and make delicious sprouts within 2 - 3 days.

Not gluten free: may contain gluten and other cereals. This has gluten free listed in the dietary requirements. It's not shown in the pictures but the label clearly states allergens. This should be detailed on the product information page. Not suitable for coeliacs. Update: having eating a couple of portions of these, they definitely seem contaminated, even if it's a trace amount. These are no eligible for return, even if unopened.

These are my favourite lentils for dal. Nice flavour and they develop a creaminess while maintaining their shape
