Of course, because it's so smooth, silky-soft & buttery, it's also very hydrating and feels luxurious on the lips (and big perk - it's NOT at all sticky!). I don't know that it's particularly long-lasting - it holds up pretty well to basic wear for a couple hours, but if you eat or drink much, it will disappear.
