Really really bright. Super nice lights.

I’m always looking for ways to light up darker areas in the house. I thought I’d try these. I did have to look up what “COB” means. COB LED light strips have a number of advantages over classic LED strips. I also didn’t realize that these lights don’t come with a power supply so I was a bit surprised when I received them. I remember wondering about the power connection before I ordered them but I can’t remember if this requirement was clearly listed in the product description when I ordered. It is there now.I confirmed with the seller, who got back to me very quickly, that a 24V power supply would work and ordered one. There are lots to choose from and they’re not expensive. The COB LED strip has a connector on one end that connects with the power supply and everything works great. I didn’t need to mess with any bare wire connections (this would be necessary if I wanted to cut the strip to use in more than one location.)These lights are bright! I made the mistake of staring straight at them on the reel when I first plugged them in. I installed them along the inside of a window frame. The adhesive works and the strip is flexible enough to go around corners. It took me less than 10 minutes to install them. I had less than a foot left over so I probably won’t bother with another power supply and connectors.I’m very pleased with this light strip, it’s perfect for the area where I’m using it. Getting and using a power supply was simple and I wouldn’t hesitate to get these lights again if needed.

The media could not be loaded. I am doing some projects for my 3D printers that all run 24V. I wanted to get some more COB LED lights since they look so much better than the older ones. I found this 5 meter (16.4 feet) warm white set from Visdoll.They have a color temperature of 4000K which is what I like best. Lower is too yellow and higher gets harsh and blueish. They have 480 LEDs per meter and are crazy bright.I used an adjustable power supply and found they light up around 18V and dim smoothly up to their normal 24V.Like all COB lights, if you get really close you can see the individual LEDs, but at any distance they look like a continuous string of lights.These can be cut every 2 inches. I have some that are more forgiving in that regard, but it's workable. They bend well and have a good adhesive backing. They are not rated for outdoor use.There is no power supply included. They do include a coupler to connect pieces together if you cut them and an an adapter that connects to the plug on the end of the string which you can connect to any 24V source.I'm quite pleased with this set. They seem reasonably priced and on par with others that I have used.

First, they are bright.They are also fragile. I installed these and the first bend they're done. They're not like the RGB LED strips, they can't handle any bending. Full on short that wouldn't work anymore unless you jiggled it and did a funky dance. For the price I would expect them to be able to handle more than a straight as an arrow line. Avoid.

This 5 Meter (16.4 ft) warm white COB strip arrived packaged in a color printed envelope with the product name "COB-32D-3000K" along with RoHS, ISO 9001, CE certification marks, and a power rating of 10W/Meter. When compared with another name-brand COB strip I had on hand, this LED strip looked identical but it actually included genuine 3M 300LSE tape backing (the name-brand adhesive had no markings).I tested the LEDs with a 24v 2.5A power supply and they worked as expected, with a relatively fine line of bright 3000K LEDs typical of my other COB strips. The LED strip is terminated with a standard 2.5mm x 5.5mm Male cable connector and the envelope also included a 6" Female connector with stripped wires on one end suitable for a DIY connection to any 24V DC source (nice touch). Also included in the package is a 6" splice if you want to attach another strip or wrap around a corner.As noted in the product details, this does NOT include a 24v power supply but there are plenty available online. I intend to use this as either an extension or backup replacement for some of my existing LED installations.
