Previous owner of my 2014 Suzuki Vstrom 650 installed an old-school 12-volt cigarette lighter style plug. I easily swapped that one out: plugged right into the existing spade connectors and dropped right into the whole that was already cut. Super easy. Easily readable with or without the rain cover on, and keeps the iPhone charged while running navigation app.

I install this in a jetsky dry glovebox to charge my phone while use the jetsky and do t run out of battery in my phone, I can check my battery level from time to to time to turn on my jetsky and charge the battery

Best upgrade I could’ve gotten for my truck! The 12v cig lighter broke and I was looking at options to “modernize” my truck. Fits in my 2013 f150. I’m buying an additional one to swap the passenger side out. Very easy installation.

I purchased these to add USB charging ports to my boat. The units look nice and seem to function well. The port layout works well with multiple cords too. They’re a good value for the money. Installation was pretty straightforward, although it’s always a little unnerving drilling a big hole in a very visible area of an expensive vehicle! I took off one star on the review because I feel that the plastic cover should snap on tighter. I operate in a saltwater environment, so keeping water out of the USB ports is absolutely essential. The little plastic cover does seem to stay on, but I would feel a lot better if it snapped on securely instead of just loosely fitting over the top. My guess is that it will get looser over time and eventually fail to protect the ports, but so far it’s been okay.

Had to use a step bit to make hole slightly bigger on (2008 Tundra), but we'll worth the money and time (Maybe 20m's) to install. Super fast charging on the family IPhones and Galaxies. The voltage meter is a great extra little touch. Very pleased with product especially since my lighter socket was flopping around and most plug in lighter chargers don't work very well.
