Muy BN - Ultra High Purity h-BN (Hexagonal Boron Nitride) Powder 4 oz Container with 18 Grams of BN Powder

I thought this would be more cost effective than the spray. I wear a mask and mix it with water to coat my cermaic glass melting molds. Worked great! I may experiment with just rubbing it on my molds, they are very small experiments for a microwave kiln. I am currently experimenting with mixing graphite and clay for a non-stick glass mold and may try with this as well, again these are very small molds, I would not do this with larger molds as it would be a waste. I will need to invesigate what temps this degrades at to find out if it is worth mixing in for a mold. Graphite alone degrades when exposed at glass melting temps for prolong times. Having a mold material that does not absorb heat well can prevent this. Still testing various recipes for how they hold up to the heat stress of a microwave kiln. Hard to find molds small and durable enough. At least I need not worry if my molds will stick with this. 👍

I had purchased this product some number of months ago and needed some more, but unless I'm completely misremembering the first purchase, I could swear the container was full. This second purchase the container is ~60% full and isn't quite the deal I was looking for. I'll post a photo of it still sealed in it's packaging later.

Dry and slippery, what else can you ask for.

Some instructions other than..."rub it on," would be nice to see. What are my options for application? Rub it on with a brush? I'm using stainless steel so it will be a slick surface. I searched for a video from ZYP and couldn't find one for this product.

Does what it’s suppose to do and have to use it. I would say pretty good.
