When is the latest you can put this grass seed down ?

I sowed my garden in Essex on October 22nd, after twelve days there was no discernible growth of grass, then fourteen days after sowing lots of it had popped up.

This has just arrived , was hoping for instruction amounts - anyone know roughly how much seed will be needed per sqm ? Thanks

All depends how thick you want your grass. There is no hard and fast rule with this. I suggest you don't put too much down to start with, and then wait for it to grow a bit. If it is too thin, then put more down on the next go. If you want it really dense as in the picture, you will probably need to put down considerably more. Hope this helps.

Is anything on the seeds? For instance, is there any fertiliser or bird deterrent on it? Question on bird deterrent not answered!

As far as I know the seed doesn’t have any bird deterrent on it but I didn’t have any issue with birds eating, didn’t really see any birds. Just give a fine rake over and allow for some seed to be eaten or non germinating and it will grow fine.

I have patches on my lawn. It’s current very dry weather . Should I wait until rain is due

Sorry I can't give a positive reply but I have some patches and I will be waiting until September then sow the seed when the weather changes.
