Great Product! Easy and effective!
The SharkBite Max 1/2 x 3/8 Inch Compression Angle Stop Valve is an outstanding product! I recently used it for a plumbing project, and it exceeded my expectations. The push-to-connect design made installation incredibly easy, even for someone who isn't a professional plumber. Super Easy to Install
Replacing some bathroom faucets and found the shutoffs were not ok for my new faucets, so I needed to replace them. These are about as easy as you could get. Took about 30 minutes to replace all 4 and no effect at all to put these on once I cut the older ones off. Don’t forget to turn your water off to your house first!

Even easier than regular Shark Bite.
If you thought SharkBites were good, the max are even better. They don't have that plastic sleeve in the middle that tends to get bound up. Super easy, super strong. Used to complete dual water heater install. Easy to mix copper and PEX. Used this to upgrade the 1/4 inch copper lines to my furnaces

Quick fix.
The media could not be loaded. Easy to use. SharkBite quality (that's good), SharkBite price (they are expensive). You wouldn't want to do a lot of plumbing with these because of the price but they are great if you are in a hurry or it's an emergency.

Expecting a Durable and Reliable Service Life
Have installed several of these the past 5 years or so and none have leaked. It is important to clean the pipe well. I add a little silicone paste to help protect the o-ring.

Very effective, no leaks. It works great.
I needed to replace 8 old plastic valves in my house, and it was a lot of work - but only because the old ones were terrible to remove and the pipes needed to be sanded. But ones the pipes were ready, these fit perfectly and there is no leaking at all. I'm glad I chose these.For simplifying installation, I attached the faucet hose first so that I wasn't tugging and twisting on this valve to attach the hose, and then I pushed the valve onto the pipe. I also found I needed to twist the valve closed and open again to loosen it up - it's pretty stuck when it arrives.
