Do you sell the brackets to attach the fence to a 4x4 pist

The brackets used for the Hinged Portable fences will only work with the posts designed for the product. They are sized to fit in the post channels. They will not be able to be attached to a 4x4 without additional materials like L brackets.

Can I drill this on pavement?

Thank you for your interest in our Kensington Hinged Portable Fence! The metal feet for this panel have routed holes on either side to make securing them easier. As stated in our Installation Guide:

Soft ground: Purchase 1/2" diameter
rebar spikes or similar stake and
drive them through the holes in the
foot to further secure the panel if
needed.

Hard surface: Purchase 1/2"
diameter lag bolts for wood surfaces
or concrete wedge anchors for a
concrete surface to further secure
the panels if needed.

Although these are optional installation methods, please note that this product is designed to be portable for temporary events or as a psychological/aesthetic barrier and not a physical one. We do not recommend our free-standing products for serious crowd control or for pet or child safety.

How do the hinges work? Can it be used like a gate?

The hinges go into the channel of the post to allow for a secure connection that gives you freedom to install the fence at any angle. I suppose you could leave off a post on one end and add a wheel to the bottom of the panel for support to keep the fence from sagging or tipping over. That being said, we have not tested this option and do not know if it is viable or not.
