Nostalgia New and Improved Retro Wide 2-Slice Toaster Perfect For Bread, English Muffins, Bagels, 5 Browning Levels, With Crumb Tray & Cord Storage

Ok, so the first toaster I ordered was missing the red badge on one side. So I went through the process of returning it for a replacement. The replacement arrived quickly. I guess I just need to make sure my credit card is not going to be charged for the one I sent back. If I'm being honest, I will admit that I ordered this pink retro toaster because if fits right into my kitchens 50's Diner decor. 😁 Plus, pink is my favorite color. 🩷 I also needed a toaster after we gave away our 4 slice toaster... thinking that we would use the toaster oven for toast instead. The toaster oven will come in handy when we need to make several pieces of toast at once to feed family and/or friends that are here for breakfast. But we discovered that we needed to go back to having a toaster... and a 2 slice one is fine for our needs. I did a decent amount of searching before I selected this one. This is a basic toaster. Yes, it looks unique and fun, but it doesn't have a lot of bells & whistles. It's simple, and that works for me. The toast has browned evenly on both sides. I have not toasted a bagel, but I did toast an English muffin. The number setting was slightly increased over the #2 setting that I use for toast. The bread slots are wide enough to fit a bagel. We did toast a hotdog bun, which was a little challenging removing from the toaster because of its size in height. The crumb tray slides out with ease to clean and replace. I was a little leery that this toaster would be more of a novelty item over doing its job well. The toaster doesn't feel cheap either. It's true that I love that it is retro, unique, pink, and not boring! But it's also functional. Win-Win!😁

I LOVE the color! And it goes perfectly with the microwave of the same color.

I love my toaster. This toaster has helped create a beautiful nostalgic vibe to my kitchen. It's not to big, easy to clean and there are settings so you can choose from. I really love the cancel feature. Great choice and I would purchase it again.

I love Nostalgia products, and this retro toaster did not disappoint! It works exactly as it should and toasts bread evenly every time. It’s very easy to use, lightweight, and feels well made despite its light design. The retro style adds a fun touch to my kitchen, and it beautifully browns my morning sourdough bread just the way I like it. For the quality, performance, and price, I think it’s an excellent value. I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful. Works well. Love it! ***Update. Two years later I got a Pop Tart stuck in it! It happens in all toasters. I had to break it up to get it out. Unplugged of course! But there's jam stuck on the walls and I scraped it with my fingernails and a tooth brush. And still smokes bad, little pieces started to burn. Can't have a fire in my new apartment building! Or set off the smoke alarm. Be careful, any stuck crumbs can catch fire. So I have to throw out my beautiful aqua toaster! Not worth the risk! I just got pink this time. On sale. And to be different. It's pretty, a lighter pink then expected. I prefer the aqua. But I have the air fryer in aqua, and I'm getting the microwave in aqua, so guess it's okay. (But I have a lot of other things in pink!) This is the first Nostalgia one in pink. Discovered it looks better sideways. More room, and can see the dials.) Anyways, beautiful toaster. Gets hot, cooks fast, so I have it all the way down, and usually push the cancel button before the toast or Pop Tart is done. But I think I'll be nuking my Pop Tarts for 6 seconds again in the microwave! They do have sandwich sleeves or something I heard. I think the frosted ones might be worse. 🤔 But just discovered, yes, the toast is done more on one side. But like everyone else, I bought it for the pretty. So I'll live! Lol.

Is is very pretty and retro looking. I only made toast once and it toasted evenly on both sides. I can't say much because I just got it yesterday.

This toaster is beautiful and has nice wide slots ,cleaning tray and functionality

Love the color and retro look!

Me encantó su diseño retro, con un acabado fino y elegante. Funciona a la perfección.!!

Let's not kid ourselves, we're all buying this toaster for that sweet nostalgic retro kitchen appliance look. In that respect, this toaster delivers. It looks a little washed out, sky blue in some of the pictures online (even my review picture looks washed out greenish) but I assure you, it's got that slight greenish tinge that makes it such a gorgeous shade of bright retro aqua. Mine worked without issue but the toasting temps are really powerful. I'd start out at level one and adjust from there (my first test toast were at level 3 and they came out black). Level three is more of a frozen waffle setting. I have not tested a bagel but toast and waffles are great. The bottom tray slides out quite easily for cleaning and the toaster itself is easy to wipe down. You will have to dry the plastic chrome-looking parts after to keep them from looking spotty/streaky, but this is an attention piece so you were going to do that anyway ;) Family of three that uses the product almost daily; husband is kind of rough with appliances but it's holding up with no issues or malfunctions. Simplistic but stylish, I highly recommend.

Funciona perfecto

Perfecto, me gusto

Pretty in Pink must have toaster! 😁 Looks pretty good for being plastic. Works just as well. Recommended purchase!
