Anyway, the L-boxx units are plastic, but they feel sturdy enough for most uses. Not as heavy duty as some of the Dewalt offerings, but much more flexible in my opinion. I would not load them up with pounds of hardware, but for most tools they are more than capable of holding, protecting, and organizing your toys. It has been a handy addition to my tool storage. I am using this one to store a circular saw and spare blade. I like the locking feature of securing to another box. Allows me to stack things in my small shop and not worry about things slipping apart or falling. It seems well made and has held up for me so far . I have not seen the Dewalt box to make a comparison. Bosch does not have a seal in the lid. Dewalt , I believe does which would help with water/rain issues. I keep this one inside...so for me it would not make a difference. If you are a contractor or do outside work, it may be worthwhile to compare the two . The next size down would have been big enough to keep the vac tools in, but this one was cheaper. Every other brand of tool cases I've looked at have a better quality feel.
