Review: Rock-Solid Security for All-Day Hikes - I use this camera clip on day-long hikes for landscape photography, and it has become an essential part of my kit. After a few outings to get used to it, I now love the confidence that my camera is absolutely secure on my belt or backpack strap—I know it won’t fall off. I no longer have to carry the camera in my hand or hang it from a neck strap, which I find uncomfortable, to get quick access to it. One press of the release button and I'm ready to shoot when a composition appears. This clip has eliminated the constant tradeoff between a neck strap, burying the camera in my bag, or carrying it in my hand (with the risk of dropping it). It is a finely crafted piece of gear, with sturdy materials, excellent part fit, and a beautiful, durable finish. The only minor drawback is that it can sometimes be a bit fiddly to close and secure after I’ve dropped the backplate inside my belt, which occasionally gets annoying, but it’s not enough to affect my five-star rating. **Q: Will the capture v3 work with any Arca Swiss plate? I have a number of them and would love to continue using those with this clip.**
A: Our Capture V3 Clip will only work with Peak Design plates. Our Peak Design plates are Arca Swiss compatible for tripod purposes.

**Q: Will this work with a canon powershot g9 x mark ii?**
A: Yes both should be fine.  I just finished a week of hiking in Zion and Capitol Reef.  I have a Canon 90D with a 15-85mm zoom and the weight is not an issue and it is really easy to use since mine is mounted on my backpack strap. I have taken many more pictures hiking since getting this since it is so convenient to use.

**Q: does this work with a manfrotto quick release plate? I notice that it's square and not rectangular.**
A: You have to use the plate that comes with the clip. Using another manufacturer's plate on this clip will not work. The plate that comes with this clip will fit most Arca Swiss compatible heads. Just keep in mind that this plate is shallow compared to the Manfrotto plates, so be careful when camping onto a tripod head.

**Q: Does this work with the ulanzi f38 plates?**
A: The Ulanzi Plates will not work with our Capture system, despite them copying many aspects of our systems, their products are not recognised as compatible with our unit.

I’ve used the Peak Design Capture Camera Clip V3 almost religiously for the past few years alongside the Pro Pad (sold separately), and it has become one of my most-used photography accessories. Whenever I go out shooting, my camera stays mounted securely to my belt using this system, making it incredibly convenient to go hands-free when needed without having to constantly hold or shoulder the camera.
