I have 2 dogs, one loved it and got it right away. The other was able to do the tumbling towers on the bottom, but couldn't figure out how to pull the different levels within the main tower. This is okay, I'm sure as she sees her brother do it more, she'll build up her confidence. She's also used to everyone doing everything for her. She gave up when she couldn't figure out the main pulling tower, so we did the tumbling towers again to make sure we ended on a positive note. My other dog immediately took to it, and figure out that pulling the string will release each trap door. I praised him each time he got it right. We used the commands "check it out" and "all done" to start and end the game. It was great for bonding. This is definitely not a toy to leave your dogs alone with. They could very easily crush, chew or otherwise damage the toy and then hurt themselves on it as it is plastic. Also, a larger dog could choke on the green tumbling stations if they were left unsupervised. The instructions clearly state that it is for use under supervision and meant as a bonding experience between owner and dog. We had a great time. My husband says don't buy this is you have 2 dogs in your house where one is smart and the other has nothing to offer other than her looks and love. I say go for it and learn together.

I uploaded a video to show how the game works and show how much fun my dog has playing it! The quality is good. The plastic is a little bit flimsy, but not bad for my dog. She is not an aggressive biter for things of this nature. The blue definitely is an easy contrast for them to see against the grey. Easy to assemble. Zero plastic smell. Good durability so far. Great interaction and bonding with my dog. She is 15 years old and mastered this very quickly but wants to keep playing it over and over again! One of the best toys we have so far!

This toy is great for a puppy dog. We have a Rottweiler and he loved it. But as he grows he chewed it up. The neon green cone looking parts are really sturdy but the rest is not so sturdy. He chewed through the little ropes. It worked well as a puppy but as he grew he started destroying it. But by the time that happens he has out grown the toy and you can move on to the next level. It took him a while to figure it out but eventually he did it. It keeps them occupied and helps to control bad habits as they spend their energy getting their food.

Shipped great with no damage to the box. I'm not sure if I got a faulty one, or if the two halves of the tube aren't supposed to be fully stuck together, but it seems a bit flinsy. I had to really try to get the two halves of the tube to line up and stay attached. My dog started off solving it correctly, but quickly realized she could push the tower over and get all the food at once, because it's just resting in the base, not snapped in. Going forward, I'm going to super glue the tube into the base so that it can't be removed by cheating like this. The overall idea of the toy is great, and considering I got it on sale for under $10 I can't be too mad, there are just a few flaws in the design. For reference, my dog is 7 pounds and easily knocked the tube over by pawing at the blue pieces. My dog has solved a few different easy/beginner puzzles before and did not seem confused by any of the components of this puzzle. I also wouldn't use anything that would leave a residue in this toy, because it seems difficult to fully clean. There are crevices in the base I can tell would collect water. All in all, it's a fun buy when it's on sale if your dog isn't too rough on puzzles.

I have a food driven Aussie and it didn't take her long to figure this puzzle out. She doesn't get tired of it though. I set it up for her a couple of times a week and change it up a bit by putting more or less food on the levels and under the cups. Unlike the dog in the demo video, my Aussie has a "by any means necessary" attitude toward getting the treats, and I do have to keep my hand on the top or she'll try to take the lid off and knock the toy over. The cups have to be lifted up and I like that feature since she can't just knock them out of the holes with her nose or her paw. The important thing is this toy gives her a mental workout and she is excited to see it. I was a bit concerned when the toy arrived in a flimsy, battered package. All the pieces were there and there was no damage, but it wasn't the usual quality packaging Amazon purchases arrive in.

First problem: The little pull out shelves in the tower are SO loose. I had to reset the tower a couple of times just trying to set it on the ground. The slightest jostle and they just fall out. That made it pretty easy for my dog to solve. She didn't have to bother pulling them out by the little strings. She just bumped it with her nose a couple times and they fell out and dispensed the treats. The other parts of the puzzle she was familiar with, since she owns another puzzle by this company, so it took about 2 minutes for her to get all the goodies out of it. Not great. Second problem: once you put the tower in, it's in. Making this puzzle so incredibly bulky for storing. I keep most my dog's stuff in a cube organizer in my closet. This takes up a whole cube by itself. I don't have a full cube to spare for one puzzle. I finally tried to wiggle the tower free and broke it. It is what it is. This thing was basically trash anyways.

My 12 pound miniature dachshund figured out how to pull out the trays pretty quickly. But she has a hard time getting the cups off of the tray. But that’s OK, that gives her something to work on.

At first I thought he didn't know how to get the treats to all fall down but I realized that he was just "saving them for later" super great toy to help boost the IQ and provide stimulation for my curious, food motivated kitten. He did master it pretty quickly though so I would say to get multiple level 2 toys so u can switch them out periodically.

Great product. Make sure the clear tubing clicks in place when assembling. We started our 3 year old pooch with the cones fand lower level platform first. Able to manage well once shown several times. Recommended
