I’ve tried a lot of brushes in my lifetime and this is by far the most comfortable and effective. It curves nicely to your scalp and it’s so gentle BUT it still gets through thick hair! The bristles are stiff enough to detangle effortlessly but they don’t hurt you! Great brush!!!

This brush is great, it really works with styling hair and for me, it keeps my hair smooth, and my hair gets a shine to it after using.

Love the color, love the construction, love the results. My go-to brush. Perfect for thick hair. Easy to use and doesn't get stuck due to hair thickness. Gently detangles and not damaging at all when used on wet hair. The square design is better for coverage than the oval shape. Just a few strokes from this brush and you're gucci.

Works well with the blow dryer and is a VERY good detangling brush. I love it! I'll be purchasing some more in different colors.

So, I ordered this brush after a long and at times frustratingly difficult search for a "non-curved" (i.e. basic paddle shape/only curved along 1 axis) vented paddle brush. I knew that with my very long, thick, strong and extremely fine hair that I would need a brush that had a lot of vented surface area as well as stiff . After finding only "curved" examples of this I finally stumbled upon this brush. It seems to work well, is indeed not rounded like some of the other options and has plenty of ventilation, but I have two main complaints:First: The bristles are not as stiff as I'm used to in my brushes and they don't really provide the resistance my hair needs to be detangles (esp. when wet)Second: the picture of this brush shows that it has a two sided barrel (i.e. from the top view there is a front face with the bristles attached and a back face which mirrors the front but w/o bristles) but the brush I received is has only a single surface with the bristles. I would have liked the extra strength and heft the back piece of plastic would have provided and indeed decided on this brush based upon the top view picture. It seems that perhaps Olivia Garden once sold this brush with the two-faced design but now all of the retailers and Olivia Garden website show only a single face. So BEWARE.Other than that, this is definitely exactly what I was looking for. Though I will still be on the hunt for a brush that can deliver as much as this one as well as avoid the two issues I had.
