Pregnancy Pillow Body Hug"Wrap Around Comfort" V Shaped, Maternity Breastfeeding Pillow

Have had excruciating back pain for over a week and HAD to do something about support for sitting as it was just too painful for me.Ordered this on Sunday and it arrived today (Wednesday) Tore off the wrapper, set it on the sofa and ok not quite bliss but definitely a huge improvement on all the cushions etc I had been trying to manage with.As someone already said, it doesn't fall apart/off the sofa for a start :)It does have very good support for lower back and shoulders especially.The arms make it feel like sitting in a cosy armchair.I'm looking forward to using it to read in bed and see if the arms help with propping the book up, which I have been having trouble with.While I type, it is supporting me in my computer chair, which is a pretty good one but the lumbar support was inflatable and it became leaky years ago (I think the dog bit the inflator bulb) so I have been using a little cushion, which goes flat but was better than nothing.The arms are a little awkward in the pc chair since the chair already has arms so it is more like they are squashed around my hips! But not uncomfortable, just weird.I would have liked some neck support too but I do like what it does have.I haven't worked out how I'm going to manage keeping the cover clean yet - I think I will probably need to buy a spare one but that can wait a little while.I might even get the fabric paint out and decorate it :) Or get my daughter to pretty it up with her lovely applique and embroidery that she does :)In the pc chair without it I was in agony within minutes but with it I still have pain but it's much more bearable so I can sit and use the pc for longer at a time :)Edit: Winter 2014/2015 I hadn't used it for a while but wanted to - got it out from storing (in the house) and it had crumbled into bits and become totally useless. I would have hoped it would last more than 3 years!

I bought this as I spend a lot of time in bed and need support for my arms as well as my back, neck and head. After using for a few weeks I have found that the 'arms' of this pillow have flattened so that I need to use further support for my arms. This for me defeats the purpose of the pillow. I did not want to be surrounded by pillows supporting my arms and which move when I do, fall on the floor and are generally a nuisance.I find I am using this less and less. I am very disappointed - I expected better quality stuffing for a pillow that cost well in excess of £30.

This is a good idea made a bit cheaply. The back part has very little padding so you still need an arrangement of pillows. The arms are also very long, which makes getting out of bed if you are disabled or broken slightly complicated. Fairly useful, could be better quality.

First let me say this pillow came to Northern Ireland incredibly quickly.Now the serious stuff... it is terrific as a support to read in bed.I've never mastered comfortable reading in bed: I couldn't support my book properly, my arms got cold, my back ached, if I lay sideways my glasses went squiffy... but that is all in the past!I love my new pillow. It is in not, in itself,a thing of beauty, but with its ungainly arms tucked under the duvet the pillow part looks good - even luxurious.Once propped up I cross the arms over my thighs UNDER the duvet and mould the duvet to fit round the book (which is a 650 page whopper at the moment). Perfect.I am really glad I 'risked' my money. Go on, treat yourself!

I bought this for my mother who has a bad back.My mum found it completely impractical and of no support.The picture is decieving and she was unable to get comfortable with it.Would not recommend.

It hasn't worked for me. I would wake in the morning and it would be all flat on my bed !The arms take some getting used to as they hug you and can restrict your movements

I agree with my fellow reviewer, you can definitely order from this seller with confidence. Their customer support is first class and delivery was outstandingly quick. They seem to understand the need for speed with an item such as this,The pillow itself is firm, it offers support in all the right places, I can sit up in bed now and watch the telly, use my laptop. Currently I have the sides, the 'arms' running alongside my body and that is nice, a comfort. But I have also had a go with the arms wrapped over my tummy, a sort of hug, and that was good too.I can't wait to sleep now, which will sadly be within the next 30 minutes I imagine (it's now 14:30) but this pillow I am sure will give me comfort.
