Plum® Treasure Beach Wooden Outdoor Sand Pit for Gardens

My little one loves it. We use it in the play room. We bought little crystals and sieves so she can dig and find the gems. Good wood.

Pros:- Smooth, sturdy wood- Attractive shape- Decent size, big enough for our five year old and two year old- Useful seats around the side- Fairly quick to assemble (40 mins)- Comes with an elasticated fabric cover which fits snuglyCons:- No pilot holes on the wood panels to show you where to put the screws; you have to judge this by eye- Sandpit needs to be weatherproofed before first use; did not realise this prior to purchase!- Fabric base is flimsy and instructions say it's not suitable for placing on a hard surface (e.g. patio) due to risk of tearing; we ended up making our own solid base out of hardboard and placing the fabric lining over the top. We attached the fabric to the inside of the sandpit with a staple gun as it would otherwise have been loose.

Very easy to assemble, looks nice and is very sturdy my kids love it!Would definitely recommend much better than the plastic ones

We bought this for our grandaughters birthday how disappointed were we not to mention or grandaughter.We bought the product a month or so before the party to ensure we had it, first mistake or it would have been sent back for a full refund.Easy enough to assemble you will definitely need an electric drill for the screws or you will be at it all day.The wood itself was very rough in areas and needed sanded down to smooth it.The ground sheet for the sand is not fitted you will probably staple it to the frame as we did but you don’t get anything for this the ground sheet also had a tear in it ?The sand pit cover is not fit for purpose it has two circular holes in it which lets the rain in what’s the point in this as the sand becomes wet.The cover was a good fit but again ours had a tear in it at one of the corners.The packaging of the materials in the box was poor which would easily allow damage to the material’s inside.Definitely not worth the money or time to make this product fit for purpose.

Really need a electric screwdriver because there are a lot of screws but went together well and instructions clear

This was a pain to put together but once up is great!

A good sturdy wood frame which was fairly simple to put together. As other reviews had mentioned, you definitely need an electric screwdriver or you'll be there forever!The groundsheet needs stapling on which was not mentioned in the instructions.Although there is a waterproof cover, it isn't very effective. It fits on the top but not with any tension, so a small gust of wind and it is off. The holes in the sheet also let water in which defeats the purpose of the cover.All in all, for the money I paid it has been worth it, but there are certainly some imperfections that we can work around but others may not be able to.
