This is my choice for protecting what has been called "the most breakable, most expensive iPhone yet." I appreciate the beauty of the engineering that goes in to the iPhone, and I don't like covering it up with a case, but it would be crazy not to protect it in some way when it isn't in use.Ever since the iPhone 5, I've been using similar sleeve cases from another company that have a "Snugg" fit. They haven't made one yet for the iPhone X, so KAVAJ has earned my business.My iPhone feels very secure when it is in this case. The fit is tight enough that it will not fall out, even if I turn the case upside down and shake it. While the pull strap is necessary for removing the iPhone from the case, I don't think it is necessary for it to go over the top of the case. It isn't needed to hold the iPhone in the case, but if it were meant to hold the iPhone in the case, the magnet isn't strong enough.

The Kavaj leather slipcase is the best protection available for any iPhone. It's also beautiful and finely made. I have owned three of these--one each for my iPhone 6, iPhone 7-plus and now for my iPhone X. The first two were brown, and aged well, showing the beauty of well-worn leather. I opted for black for my new iPhone, only for a change of pace.

Quality is pretty good. Also the phone is definitely safe inside the sleeve.Nice feeling to hold it in the hand.Unfortunately it’s really a little bit too tight.

Used this very case for my previous phone. Got myself iPhone X for Christmas. I love this style case. Allows me to easily remove phone to use and totally protects when in the case. Craftsmanship and materials are top notch.

I second the previous review that this is a safe sleeve for the iPhone X as the snug fit prevents it from falling out. I insert the phone head first into the sleeve so I had no problem pulling it out on the bottom (without accidently pressing the volume or power buttons). In this configuration it also allows charging the phone via the opening. Overall, the sleeve with its leather surface looks very nice. Like the previous reviewer, I used to have a sleeve named for its snug fit but they haven't come out with a product for the iPhone X yet. I find this sleeve is the best available if you're looking for a snug leather sleeve with a slot for holding a card (which in my case I use it to hold my metro train pass.)

This product does not fit my IPhone X. It is too small. It will slide in tight and very difficult to get out. I did not have a case on the phone

This product is great, typical of Kavaj to produce such a high quality case. I have concerns in regards to how tight it hugs my phone. I am worried it may damage the screen or the phone itself. I am uneasy taking my phone in and out. For that reason I stopped using this case.

I prefer a case from which I can easily and quickly remove my phone for use. I have been using the KAVAJ cases for years. They are precisely crafted from high quality materials. I have never worn out or damaged a KAVAJ case. I only purchase new cases when my new phone is a different size or I sell an old phone with the case.
