Works wells enough
I have 2 sump pits in the basement, one for the pump and one as a sediment pit (per my city requirements). We have a lot of iron in our water and these little capsules help kill off the bacteria in the pits and clean the pump. I leave it sit for 24 hours and then flush the pits out with clean water. If it's really dirty I'll do 2 tablets but 1 in each usually does it.

Depends what you need
If you’re trying to clean ocher or keep that clear these are a bust. I live in Wi in tomah and we have a lot of it in our sump pump and these did nothing to keep clean

A very niche product that works as intended
We have a sump pit that is mostly used to collect and discharge condensate. It tends to get very rusty which is likely from the pump housing (cast iron) rusting from sitting in water 24/7. I followed the directions and tossed a couple of these tablets in (after flushing the pit with clean water), let it sit overnight, then flushed it again and lo and beyond I would say 99% of the rust was just...gone. So it does the job it is designed to do. They are expensive but they work so if you want to clean up a rusty sump pit, this should do the trick for you. It won't cure the issue...the rust will return eventually, but I'm not seeing the rust rushing back.

Excellent. Works great. They said to use 10 tablets, I only used 7 and within a few hours was done. Highly recommend.

It worked for our sump!
Our basement would randomly start to smell like rotten eggs after we would do laundry, take a shower, etc. We hired a plumber for them to come take the sump lid off and tell us it just needed cleaned…thank goodness that’s all it was. We decided to order these tablets and after one tablet we thought it didn’t work because about 8 hours into it our house smelled worse than it ever has, and we thought we had awoken a much bigger problem, turns out it seems to be part of the process, haha. After that our sump hasn’t really put out any bad smells and it’s been 3 weeks so far!
