Cheap plastic ends
Received two and went through two in 4 months. These are not good to hold open rv doors. The plastic ends are not strong enough to endure any wind.

Fit my A.R.E. LSII hard tonneau cover perfectly
ONe of the stock lift support struts failed on my A.R.E. LSII hard tonneau cover. Less than 3 mos old. The place I bought it from had to order new ones and they are an hour or so away. I found these on Amazon and they spec'd out fine. They are a little longer (closed) than the OEM ones but they fit perfect and the cover stays open now. I searched for the OEM part number from the failed strut but it doesn't seem to exist.

Did Its Job Too Well
So strong that it ripped off the ball studs and destroyed the panel it was attached to. Buying a weaker one next time.👍
