Review: Brilliant healthy rye bread - We find it quite difficult to find decent rye based bread locally, and when we do, it's expensive, and generally not organic. This is wonderful, very moreish but very filling bread — better than what we've bought at the supermarkets — and the ingredients and it being organic are so impressive. Flax is an especially good food source to have, and this it's great value (about £2 or less) when bought in bulk like this. If people are used to fluffy white bread full of nonsense but it makes good toast, this will be very different. It doesn't make great toast really, as it's so thin and dense. However, it is lovely as it is, or blasted for a short time in the toaster or even the microwave for a minute. One thing I will point out as a plus but probably tmi, it makes you extremely regular! It also doesn't spike blood sugar and make you tired. It's generally a great bread that's surprisingly versatile once you get used to it, and so much better for you than most bread on the market these days.
Review: Prefer this to normal bread for snacking - certainly healthier! - This stuff is a great alternative to normal bread if you're trying to eat less wheat/gluten. It's cut so thinly that it has a tendency to get a bit lost in the toaster - and trust me, you do want this stuff toasted, it's not very nice if you don't toast it! - so my advice would be either buy some bamboo toast tongs (which I've done - a good solution) or toast it under the grill. It's a very firm texture, quite chewy, but very nice topped with marmite or peanut butter. Or taramasalata, yum! You can't really make sandwiches with it as it has quite a brittle texture, espeically if not toasted first. But it's a good, filling lunch, 2 slices of this topped with whatever you like, and the shelf life is quite good too.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice taste but quite salty

This arrived rather quickly (considering the lockdown!). It was well packaged. I liked the fact the slices were a bit longer than the bread I buy at the supermarket and it had a long shelf life (bought in April, use by date is December). I have frozen the packets and take them out one at a time when needed. The bread stays fresh (and not soggy). The only thing is I find is the bread is quite salty. When you look at the amount of salt on the packet, it's not high, but it does still taste too salty. I normally use salted butter, but I have switched to unsalted and do not add any salt at all on my breakfast (avocado on rye or smoked salmon & scrambled eggs... hence the salt).
