I used this soffit vent to add an additional vent to our bathroom. I installed the vent in a vented soffit and wanted to be able to exhaust the damp air away from the vented soffit, to prevent the damp air from being drawn back up into the attic. It works very well and allows the damp air being exhausted to dissipate beyond the vented soffit and into the air. Works very nicely

Bit pricey but good quality and design. Seems durable, time will tell. Paired this with 100 and 110 CFM exhaust fans. Rest pictures says it all.

Good product, but is dirty and easy to use

Look at my picture, you can see the unit is made of extra thick plastic and very sturdy. The collar connect to the flexible pipe is more than 1 in long, made it very easy to secure with the flexible pipe. The bottom is not flat but in V shape, moisture inside the housing will flow to a small weep hole

Quality item , fits well

Prior to putting this in, I put a layer of plywood above the soffit vinyl and secured to the fascia board and wall. Then cut the hole and attached the vent from the outside with screws. Then attached a 3 inch pvc street elbow using great stuff foam. The male part of the elbow inserts into the vent flange. Roughed up with sandpaper, it’s pretty solid and the flange on the elbow now gives you something to prevent the flex duct from pulling off. I also put some foam between the flex duct and the pvc fitting and secured with a zip tie to air seal that as well.The only thing, if you do this, after the foam cures, check from the outside for any boogers inside the soffit vent.

Excellent quality product. The front slides off for easy cleaning. The flange is of a good length to attach the vent pipe to. It comes with 4 screws to attach it to the soffit. The screws are inside the slide off part of the vent. It also has a baffle to prevent air from flowing backwards to the fan motor.
