Wonderful Pot
Handle does not get to hot when using. It makes a great cook's utility pan. It takes the place of my All Copper Mauviel pot and weighs much less. I have other Paderno saucepans that are 20+ years old and still working like new. Remember this pot is like a DEEP skillet or SHALLOW sauce pan. It is in that in-between size.

discoloration on a brand new pan
was super excited to open my package ,but my excitement was shortlived as the pan I received looked used with discoloration at the bottom.

Exactly what I wanted
Got this pan over Christmas for $40.00 , it was exactly what I was looking for in a large Saute Pan , perfect for Sunday pasta sauces
