I've been using this for months already and it has been holding up great! The quality is very good and the size is perfect with the flap not being too big. I had issues before where people put their hand in and steal letters from the flap, but this is small enough so those sneaky thieves won't steal from. Great purchase and it's been lasting very good. Very good quality and durable but not rainproof

The post box arrived on time, intact, undamaged and is as described. The box was a bit battered as it was only wrapped in a tight fitting plastic bag, on balance as we should all be considerate as to how much packaging we use, as the post box is an item that is unlikely to be a gift the packaging was appropriate, the packaging looks like it would be recyclable but doesn't say if it is or how to recycle on it. The post box is stylish and looks good quality with a good paint finish. It looks well worth the money. It looks like it would be fairly waterproof if in a sheltered place, however if water did get in there are no holes at the bottom for it to drain out of, however overall I think you would be alright. The post box was a bit fiddly to instal due to the positioning of the fixing holes, however they need to be where they are for the stability of the box once in place.

Well made. Easy to install. Good size for larger envelopes or small packages.

Great product and really waterproof. 3 stars as the locking mechanism is fiddly and had to fix it to remove play in the door of the box.

This was to replace an old one which the lock had broken on and looked ok problem is water puddles on the top of it and runs inside ruining any mail posted in it during or after rain bought in January now in February unable to return definatley avoid this one

ideal dose the job

There is an old saying that goes . . . You get what you pay for . . . This seems to be particularly true in the world of Post Boxes. This Post Box is not one of the better ones because it does have a few issues, however for the price £18.00 at the time of this review it is actually not that bad which is why I have given it 4 stars. If you live in a quite rural location and can put this up in a sheltered spot away from driving rain and wind, and it is big enough for you then it will be great. If you live in a dodgy spot where you might wake up with a horses head on the pillow next to you in the morning and a strange man pointing a machine gun at you demanding a ransom or the cat gets it (and I don't mean its dinner) then I would advise spending more and getting something much more secure. This is painted well enough, the steel is strong but thin and I don't believe it would stop rain blowing in around the sides of the opening as there is no seal to stop it. And if someone decided they wanted to get in a crowbar would open this up in seconds. Luckily I have a use for this so I'm fine with it and as I have said it gets 4 stars because it is very moderately priced.

As seen in picture. Cheap and light. Not wayerproof

Had it 2 days, after some rain, opened it to find 1cm of water in the bottom. Had to drill two drainage holes in the bottom and put in a wire mesh to keep post raised up from water. Terrible
