YMI Izmir Magnetic Travel Backgammon Set, 9 in

Bought this to keep on our Sprinter Van and love it. Great quality and love how it all zips up! The magnetic feature is a bonus.

I got my son this great travel set for vacation. Pieces are magnetic which was helpful to play on the beach. Pieces are good quality but small. We made sure we had the dice every time we cleaned up. My son loved that everything was well organized and liked the design of the set with strong and sturdy zip.

I gave this as a gift for a friend allowing me to stay at their home and I thought it was excellent quality and really nice for the price. It was also small and compact enough to travel with me on the plane to the home where it will live. Very transportable but also durable!

I bought this set for an upcoming trip to the Philippines. It is exactly what hoped for...small enough to easily tuck into my packing, yet large enough to play comfortably. The pieces are lightly magnetic...enough to stay in place, but not so tight that they are hard to move. If you turn the board upside down, or shake it hard enough, they will fall off. But that is fine with me...I don't need them stuck like they are glued on, which would make play horrible...just enough so they don't jostle during some airplane turbulence. Stitching is good, reasonable materials. As an added bonus, the playing field is lightly padded, so the dice make very little noise. Airplane seat mates who are trying to sleep the airline miles away will appreciate this feature.

I bought this for a recent vacation/cruise my wife and I took and I am very impressed. The quality and craftsmanship are great, including magnetic chips which don't slide around at all. We probably played 1,000+ games on the ship, on the planes, in a bus, etc. without any issues. It is a little bigger than I expected but after hauling it around daily for a week I have no complaints. We also used it for other dice/card games as well which was ideal. Would highly recommend if you enjoy Backgammon! If I had one complaint, it would be the set does look a bit girly and visibly carrying it definitely looks like I'm carrying a purse lol. Totally worth it though!

Nice portable set. Good quality- however it is a little pricey. Easy to learn. Fun to play on the go. Enjoy playing with my 8 year old daughter. Magnets are not very strong but sufficient to withstand small bumps. Love that it is self-contained & quiet. Case is smooth, stitching is nice, size is good for travel.

Great, beautiful and well designed backgammon game

Very beautiful backgammon set! Extremely well made with quality materials; feels luxurious. My husband and I bought this to use while we travel - both on a plane and during our vacation - and this set exceeded our expectations. Small enough to carry on the plane and use on the travel tray but large enough that my husband and I didn’t feel cramped playing the game during the flight. We absolutely LOVE this set as well as the game - have been playing backgammon for years. It was very well priced - good value for a set that will last us for years. In fact a couple of our friends fell in love with our set so will be giving them their own for Christmas. I know they will be thrilled! Again, great backgammon set, you’ll enjoy it for years.
