- Duco 1/8" Clear Cast Acrylic Sheet, 12"x12" Plexiglass Sheet, 1 Pack

I gave a makeover to this old, heavily used Victorian side table. Poor thing was in rough shape, but had potential. Unfortunately for it, I wanted to use it as a little coffee station, which is liable to only damage it more. Thats where the acrylic sheet comes in. It fit perfectly on the tabletop, though admittedly, the scallops do not match. I did round one corner with an oscillating multitool. Very easy to cut. Just leave the protective films on and sandwich the acrylic between boards or cardboard to insulate from vibrations and prevent flexing. Be patient and cut in sweeps. Then flip and cut from the back. Took all of 2 min. The plexiglass is crystal clear, a good thickness and suits this function perfectly. It has a little flex, which is good because the old tabletop isn't level anymore, despite my best efforts with wood filler. So the acrylic must bend ever so slightly. As far as durability goes, that remains to be seen. As we are coffee drinkers in this house and this table is right by our entryway, I suspect it will see a lot of heavy use. So how long it takes to scratch up is anyone's guess. Overall, this piece of acrylic is exactly what we needed for this little coffee table to (hopefully) prevent more damage to the little antique. Will definitely buy again when its time to replace.

All I can say is WOW. The fact Duco can cut it to what you size you want is one thing but getting it and seeing how it was packed so nicely and the plexi was as CLEAR as glass. Years ago I went to lowes and had them cut a piece for me and the plexi was just so distorted, It did not look anything like Duco...You would think seeing Duco product you were looking thru glass. I got it to go in front of my retractable screen door so my Yorkie wont go thru the screen when Prime, UPS or Fed Ex trucks come to the door! I got the 1/8 thick since I did not need anything stronger for the purpose. My door frame is 36 wide and I got the 37 x 21 high x 1/8 thick and when he stands on it he is not even to the top...He also put his nose thru it like he can go out there for the first time and then looked at me and said what is this all about :) I did buy some velcro to add to the pc but for right now I just have it up against the ottoman. It only weights about 2 pounds so really easy to move back and forth. If you blow the pic up, the screen is there and the plexi is in front of my yorkie. See the red arrow, that is the top of the plexi. I also got my CUSTOM screen door that is inside the frame from Phanton Screens. If they have one near you it is so clean, The retractable screen is NOT on the outside of your door frame. It is on the inside of your door frame and the base of the frames blends in with your existing threshold. Home Depot in my area had a display of it. It takes 8 weeks for them to custom make it but worth the wait. I have on my back door the ones that are on the outside frame and the base is 2.5 inches high and really cumbersome.

One of the pieces I had cut was slightly off. Otherwise, I liked the product. It was as expected. Since there are no returns, I’m not sure what to do with the piec that is slightly off.

It fits my requirement perfectly. The dimension was 1 cm more than what I required cut it with my jigsaw smoothly. Value for money Extremely light weight Packing was secured and adequate foam so that it does not break No scratches Both sides have stickers so that the surface remains protected 2 sheets in the packet

Thickness is about 2.5 mm and not 3. Dimensions are also short of 6 inch. So it is not what is advertised

The thickness mentioned is 1/8 inch =0.125 inches ~ 3mm but in actual it’s 2mm. Felt cheated. It’s overpriced.
