It stores >5,000 images from my Nikon D850. Its speed is fine for photography. I do not do video so cannot comment on its suitablility for that purpose. I use the ProGrade card reader for downloading. It does not work with my bog standard XQG card reader, and the ProGrade card reader I have does not read XQD cards.
