Garbage complete garbage!
I used this striker 15 times until today. At least 1/2 of those uses did not produce a spark! Today, not only did it not produce a spark the trigger handle flopped around like a part was missing. There is nothing more frustrating to me as a MacGyverer than buying a tool that should last a lifetime and go to use that tool, that is for all intents and purposes BRAND NEW, and have it fail so prematurely it didn’t even pay for itself!!!! I’d highly recommend purchasing a better brand!!

Rugged
Solidly made from steel without any breakable parts that I can see and shouldn’t have any problem being dropped on a concrete floor. Squeezingbthe lever produces a long spark that has no problem igniting a torch. It should last and give good service.

Great 👍
I had one sense the 1970. Had to buy another one after someone stole it. Work for years with no problems 😊

Replaced my first one!
It’ll work for so long. But with the new one I just got I notice how sparky this one is per click compared to how bad my last one had gotten.Biggest complaint on this one is some of the green handle coating out of the box chipped off and it zaps you every time you squeeze it. Yet you can’t zap others with the sparking end of it, so you’ve gotta get people to try it bare handed for a shock prank.

Oxy-Propylene torch
It does work for an Oxy-Propylene torch but you must add a dash of oxygen to get it to light. It will not ignite the propylene by itself! Works great once you figure that out.

Works like it's supposed to
I had an old one of these piezo igniters, and it was flaky. It needed a very quick squeeze, and still sometimes wouldn't spark. This new one works exactly like it's supposed to, easy squeeze and pop!!!
