The heavy glass jar is beautiful and the rose scent is amazing. The packaging was really nice too with a nice quality, soft/satiny olive green ribbon tied around it that I can reuse for other purposes. It also came in thick styrofoam to protect it nicely. Styrofoam is awful for environmental purposes but it served to protect the candle very well the way it was packaged. It still gets 5 stars, but it is the noisiest candle I've ever had, it doesn't really bother me but it's very puzzling how noisy it is. I always cut the wick down as directed, so I don't know if I just got a weird one or what. Not deterred though, I am excited to buy others to see if they are strangely noisy too, but especially for the aroma and especially the fancy glass jar with matching lid!!

I am obsessed with this rose (pink jar) candle. Not only do I love the fragrance, you can actually smell it!! The best part is when the candles are gone, I melt all the leftover wax and store it for later to make another candle!! The jars are so gorgeous and my bedroom is a blush pink with gold accents.. the empty jars are perfect for storing my daughters hair clips and bows and they look just darling in my daughters room on her shelves. When i 1st bought this, I literally only bought it because I thought it would look cute on my dresser. It's all over perfect! The smell, the jar, the packaging. It's just amazing and it's so beautifully wrapped that you can take it just how it is and put a name tag on it to gift it. Absolutely beautiful. I have subscribed to save on these and every month I think, maybe I'll skip a delivery, but I never do because 1st of all, I burn it all the time so it's always gone by the end of the month and 2nd, I am just in love with the jars, I figured if I do have one leftover. It'll be a perfect gift for anyone I may have forgotten to get a gift for. It seems very feminine but my husband even likes it. He thinks it smells good too so. It's a win win win in our house. I have never received a broken one, ever. In fact, they come so well packaged, I'm always extra careful when unpacking it to make sure I don't drop it and break it myself. I can't wait to try out the lavender one for my bathroom because it's purple and will look very chic in the bathroom just like it does in our bedroom. They burn ALL the way down. I'm impressed with how little wax is actually left.I have 2 more empty jars that I still need to melt the wax from but I do love them.Did I mention that it smells SO GOOD!

This candle smells and looks wonderful. I received a candle that looked like it had melted during shipping and the customer service took care of it immediately. The packaging it comes in is beautiful too. I will for sure be gifting these in the future.

I am obsessed with the smell of gardenias. This candle has a beautiful fragrance but unfortunately it’s not as fragrant as bath and bodywork’s gardenia. Although this is a pretty, nice smelling candle I prefer to buy the bath and bodywork’s gardenia candle.

This candle comes in a white etched glass jar with a lid it's beautiful. The scent is gardenia and burns evenly. A great gift idea at a reasonable price.

A great summer candle - nice, fresh and light scent but still quite fragranced and noticeable.

La Jolie Muse candles are always excellent. Slow-burning soy wax, gorgeous glass jar, exquisite and well-balanced perfume composition. While I enjoyed a lot the scent of the Rose Noir & and Oud candle, it systematically gave me a headache. I had to offer it to someone else.

This was a gift for my wife, she love the candel but was disapointed of the foam wrapping without the posh box.

I bought this for my wife's baths ..and because of the good reviews. ...maybe I got a dud ...but we can't smell a fifty dollars candle ..nice jar ..well packed ..but that's itUpdate. After my review of this product I was contacted by Melrose customer service offering me a refund or another candle ...I chose to get the another and picked the*Rose* scent. I'm happy to say it had a pleasent and noticable scent. Thank you Cyan from customer service.(yes that's how it was spelt) . Customer service is said to be be lacking with online shopping ,but with the amount of choices we have now, it's more important than ever.Maybe they hoped I would change my opinion, or maybe they are just a good company and care about their products . I still think the price is a little high, but if you factor in the packaging, the box that it comes in , the beautiful jar you are left with, and excellent customer service It's pretty close ,I will purchase another
