As a mom, absolute lifesaver when my daughter had tonsillitis. The cold slushies were so soothing on her throat and worked quickly to comfort her when she couldn't eat anything else. If you have busy or sick kids, you need this in your kitchen! I keep it clean in the freezer at all times! Also having boys who are always running a million miles an hour, finding anything that keeps them still is a miracle. This double-layer silica DIY slushie cup is that miracle because they can also make it by themselves! It is the only thing that actually shuts them up and gets them to sit still. You just freeze the cup first, pour in a drink, and squeeze along the cup sides. It works incredibly fast to make a perfect slushie in just minutes! Kids ages are 8-12 years old. Very cool product and it would make a good gift because you can conveniently use any type of preferred liquid and it’s a guarantee win as all kids are slushy obsessed. AMAZING! Does exactly what it is advertised to do. Absolutely love using this with my zero sugar drinks as a little sweet treat. TIP: after disassembling and cleaning the cup, i recommend only putting the inner, white layer in the freezer. Once frozen, reassemble cup and now with the outer, colored layer not being in the freezer, the cup wont be AS COLD in your hands while making the slushie! (also saw lots of reviews complaining about mold… PLEASE disassemble entire cup when cleaning and wait for cup to COMPLETELY DRY to avoid getting mold in storage)

DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! it didn’t make anything slush, I don’t know if I did something wrong or not but it didn’t work for me. I froze it for 6 hours on the coldest freezer setting, got a chilled Dr Pepper, poured it in, squeezed for 5+ minutes, and nothing happened!

really wanted to love this, and for the first few tries, it was actually pretty cool. It does exactly what it says—you freeze the cup, pour in your juice or soda, and squeeze it until it turns into a slushie. My daughter was obsessed with it for the first two days. However, the excitement faded pretty quickly. First off, you really have to "work" for your drink. You’re standing there squeezing this silicone cup for several minutes, and if your hands are sensitive to the cold, it’s not exactly a great time. The biggest issue for us is the prep-to-reward ratio. You have to freeze the cup for ages to get one small slushie out of it. Once that's gone, you're done until the next day. It’s also a bit of a pain to clean; you have to take the layers apart to make sure no sticky juice gets trapped between the liner and the shell, which gets old fast. It’s a neat gift or a fun "one-time" activity for a hot afternoon, but now it’s just sitting in the back of our freezer taking up space. It works, but it's just a lot more effort than it's worth in the long run.

Works as intended, slightly smaller than our other cup. It is difficult to clean the very bottom of the cup.
