Cool filament and it smells great (really)
Iโm probably not supposed to smell the filament once itโs done printing, but man does this one smell great. Itโs kind of like a nice smoky campfire smell. Itโs a little tricky to get dialed in and print with, but once you figure it out, it comes out very nicely.Print slowly with it and it should turn out well. Nice light brown color to it also. It has some flex to it but I wouldnโt push it.

Prints Like a Dream on the P1S (Just Use a Hardened Nozzle)
Crealitys wood PLA caught me off guard. It worked great. I tested it on my Bambu Lab P1S. Prints came out clean as anything. No clogs happened. Stringing stayed away. Layer lines looked spot on.Texture feels real. Like actual wood. Not some shiny plastic knockoff. Finish is matte mostly. Grainy just enough. Sells the whole idea pretty well.Nozzle hit around 200 degrees C. Bed stayed at 60 degrees C. Adhesion stuck fine. Warping did not show up.Get a hardened steel nozzle though. Or one that resists wear. Wood filament chews brass ones quick. You know how that goes.Sanded it light after printing. Added a clear coat fast. Thing looked carved for real. Printing was simple. No real tuning needed. End result turns out nice. Worth grabbing if wood vibe is what you after. Without all the usual mess.

Real Natural Wood Look
Great for projects with a wood look or needs a natural brown color.

Low quality, donโt buy this one!
Donโt buy this one! It breaks in the middle of prints. I have a ton of prints started and had to throw them out because of this wood filament. And thatโs not even the worst part, it clogges the motor and I would have to unscrew it and clean it every time I use this filament. Very low quality and fragile. Not worth it losing your expensive printer because of the filament. We have been printing for years now and have a booth at the market and have used other wood filaments that are great and look amazing., this one is not it!
User
Unique look, selective prints
Unique filament, for the right print it looks great, it does have a strong smell and at least with my printer struggles with detailed designs, but the finished product does look like real wood, just be selective on what you print.

Heads up: no wood grain-like variability in color
Be aware: there will be no โwood grainโ variability in color. The quality of the filament is fine, and the photos are accurate, but it must be noted that the color is uniform, which makes me feel that it is misleading to label it as โwoodโ, rather than just โtanโ.
User
Worthwhile
I love this filament. It doesnโt print quite as dark as in the promo photos, itโs more of a light tan. I will say it doesnโt like it if I use a .2 nozzle at any layer height on my P2S, I get an extruder error about 5 minutes in on a print. Iโm not going to knock a star off for that. I made some grips for a cosplay project Iโm working on and with some basic clean up, I canโt complain.
User
Great product
Absolutely love this filament have tried different brands of wood and this one is the most reliable. I have a k1c and use a 4mn nozzle. Doesnโt clog like other brands and every roll I have gotten has had no tangles

Filament tester
Used for the first time today done a massive groot model for my lad. Excellent product come out well and will use again
User
Very brittle
Unfortunately got to agree with poor quality snaps as soon as looked at it, etc
User
Good filament but.....
Decent filament but it takes time to tweak the settings to get the filament to stick properly..Mostly temp and speed of the printer. The finish surface looks good and has a wood like texture, there is a burnt smell when printing and be careful these wood filaments tends to clog more often so make sure you clean out the print head.Over all decent filament ...
User
No good...
Never used creality before or had issues with any other brand of filament till today...Filament is hard as rock, snaps like a twig, and smells like chemical wood. It melted outside of my hot end after 10 seconds of printing.I am currently in a rush to buy a new replacement hot end assembly to continue printing.Hoping the filament will ABSORB some moisture and not be a stiff when I get home (adding moisture shouldn't be a problem lol)
User
Unbelievably brittle and ruined the hot end
When I got this filament, it was already very brittle, presumably from high water content. So, I put it in my filament dryer and ran multiple cycles. The first small print after drying was decent, the second destroyed the hot end of my printer after only a couple layers. The whole heating chamber was full of PLA and the filament was still so brittle that it could not be removed without snapping off and getting stuck in the Bowden tube. I had to replace the whole hot end as a result. When everything was replaced and repaired, I tried printing again only to find that the filament was again so brittle that several rounds of drying could not fix it. When in the printer, it just oozed out of the heated nozzle (even at minimal temperatures for printing) and would not adhere to the plate (even after releveling and optimizing the Z-offset). A waste of money that ended up costing me even more money.
