Walker and Hawkes - Wax Brunswick Baseball Cap w/Leather Peak - One-Size

I previously bought a hat from Walker and Hawkes and found it perfect. Excellent colour, fit and workmanship.I recently ordered another one, which while reported as delivered, was never actually received (or was liberated from my porch). I contacted the company and they immediately asked me if I wanted a refund or a replacement - without a raft of questions, photos, etc. I received the replacement today, and it is perfect!I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Amazing caps! I ordered two of these, one in tan and one in blue. Both are perhaps the nicest caps I've come across. The oiled finish sheds water like a cormorant and the leather brim is smooth as glass and a rich brown. One of the hats had a defect and Walker and Hawkes responded to my issue the same day and quickly sent me a replacement hat. I would strongly recommend waterproofing the leather to prevent pebbling. Most compliments I've ever gotten for a baseball cap!Update: After several months the hat gets better with wear. However, waterproofing is a must. Two coats of mink oil and it sheds water splendidly with no damage to the leather. Make sure to work the oil/wax into the seam where the leather brim meets the hat or water will get up and under the leather.

I was looking for a waterproof cap and although this is water resistant it still does a terrific job at keeping my head dry. I love the Velcro adjustable strap which assures proper fit and the top quality material and leather brim gives this cap a very classy rich look!

I do appreciate the hat, but it was shipped in a plastic bag. All pics show the hat to have smooth fabric, but due to the choice of shipping container mine is quite wrinkled. A box would have been a much better choice than the bag.

Neat product, but a little smallish for a Man's head.

Fits me well (and easily adjustable so will fit most adults) & looks nice and well-made. For a baseball cap, it is stylish so you may be able to wear it where you need to dress up slightly, but it would also be fine with oil-stained overalls. It is a little warm so may not be the best as a summer hat in a hot climate.

I don’t have any issues with the hat, just the way it was shipped.It was in a plastic bag inside one of the paper shippers Amazon used.Covered with creases I may not be able to remove.Unacceptable for a $50 item!

I'm a hat guy and have more hats than I need, but not as many as I want. This is a great cap. High-quality and the leather brim is nice. Looks sharp, almost like a dressy cap. Treat it with some waterproofing and it's ready for anything.
