Worked perfectly to find the bottom plate of my support post footing in the basement. Had to chip away a few tiles to add a Steele column and this little tool did the job, good price, nice quality and fast delivery. No complaints

I use this with my motorhome to make sure that my jack pads are directly in the center of my hydraulic leveling jack. I was using a weight and string and never was able to find the center of my jack bought this and I love it. It sits right next to me in a cupholder so when I stop with my boss and need to level it, it’s right there, just wish it was a tad smaller

This is a really nice plumb bob, and it's perfect for making sure anything is absolutely vertical. It comes with everything you need to use it and has a nice sharp point for super-accurate marking.Instead of a small hole in a cap that you feed the string through and knot the end, this plumb bob has a two-way articulating swivel with a loop in the end. Then there’s a split ring through that (picture a key ring), to which the suspension string attaches. I’m not sure the swivel is necessary or better in any way, but okay.It has a protective cover that snaps securely onto the tip. This is kind of a big deal since plumb bobs often get banged up, and that can really blunt or bend the tip. Some bobs come with removable or replaceable tips, but I always lose them. This tip is protected and can never get lost.The two construction pencils and the (way cool) sharpener will come in handy. Regular writing pencils don’t last more than a second or two on concrete.What I don’t like about this is that the swivel end is all plastic. With this bouncing around in a tool box, I can imagine this plastic breaking at some point, rendering the tool useless. I contacted the vendor about any warranty they provide, and they said -“Firstly, our products comply with the regulations of the Amazon platform and provide a one month return or exchange service. Secondly, our product has undergone usage testing and can meet long-term usage standards with the correct use of lead hammers. Finally, if there are any issues with the lead hammer under normal use, you can contact us and we will provide you with a one-year warranty. If any parts of the lead hammer are damaged, we will send you a new set. If the product malfunctions during intentional damage or malicious collision, it will not comply with our after-sales service.”I don’t know what to make of that, as this isn’t a lead hammer (I sent a photo, order number, and ASIN/product number), and I don’t know what a “malicious collision” is or how that would be determined. The only thing I can be sure of is Amazon’s 30-day return policy.I hope this helps.
