"This product should not be usd for extended periods." What is the definition of 'extended', and why the caution?

Thank you for your question concerning the Solaray Total Cleanse Kidneys. This product shouldn't be taken more than two to three months at a time and then a few weeks break should be taken. As a cleanse it's not meant for long term use and with the herbs used in this formula anyone taking prescription medications should consult with their physician to make sure nothing interacts.
