Zecti Dimmable 15.7x15.7 Inch Portable Photo Studio Light Box with 2 Adjustable LED Strip Lights and Black and White Backdrops for Photography Shooting

*** Intro ***A picture is worth a thousand words, but sometimes it feels like you need to take a thousand steps to take that one perfect picture. I don't consider myself to be a pro, but I did learn from a personal experience that a key to a good picture is a proper lighting. I constantly search in the house for a good spot to take pictures, trying to capture natural lighting next to the windows or away from shadows of our recessed lights throughout a house. It's not always easy when photographing smaller objects. So, I decided to buy Zecti 15.7" photo box (lightbox) because it's roomy enough for bigger objects and it comes with 2 dimmable lights to provide a controlled natural lighting.*** Unboxing and Accessories ***The product arrived in a compact "pizza box", impressive, considering assembled box should be almost 16"x16". Every piece was packaged in a separate bag, keeping it safe and secure, and everything arrived in excellent shape. Every piece described under Amazon listing arrived as expected, plus a bonus. You get a high quality collapsible box made out of thick flexible plastic panels, 2 removable spindles with a lock nut to hold it together when assembled, 2 led panels with 21x leds each with a dimmable switch and usb cable connection, 2 magnets to secure led lights, usb cable splitter (that was a bonus) so you can connect both lights together to power from one usb source (either your laptop or a wall charger), 2 non-reflective backdrops - white and black, and a detailed user manual.*** Assembly and Operation ***The assembly of the box was very easy. Unfold the panels and secure its sides with a spindle nut lock. Literally takes a minutes to put it together. Once assembled, the light box is covered from every side, only the front is open so you can take pictures. In addition, the top of the box has a removable round dome, secured with 4 velcro pieces, which allows you to take pictures from the top angle. Included 2 backdrops have a little tab opening in the corner which you can hook inside of the box to make sure the backdrop doesn't slide. If you want different backdrop colors, it's easy to make one out of any material, and you can use included backdrops as a template for the size.The last step is attaching the lights. Each one has 21 leds, and comes with a dimmable 10 step digital controller. There is no guessing here, you have on/off switch and up/down buttons to select the exact brightness level, to match it between both lights. At the max setting, the light can reach 700LM, and you can bring it down significantly by dimming it to the lowest setting. The back of led strip has a magnet piece, and you also get another removable magnet so you can place led inside the box along the wall, and attach it securely with another magnet from outside. It was very clever to place that external magnet inside of a little plastic zip bag so it's easy to grab it when taking it apart. The magnets itself are very strong, but they don't affect the led light, absolutely no interference.I was glad usb y-splitter was included, it helps to manage cables by bringing them together behind the box and requiring you to use only a single usb outlet to power up both lights. Included User Manual is very detailed, with a step-by-step guidance, but even without a user manual I was able to put the box together, attach the lights, and be ready to start taking pictures within 5 minutes. The box size is just perfect for small and medium objects, surprisingly roomy to fit a lot of different things.*** Conclusion ***What attracted me to buy this Zecti light box was its portability, being able to pack everything up in a compact pizza box and take it out and have it ready for a photo shoot within minutes. And I also thought that dimmable light would be a great idea, to give me more control when taking pictures. When I received it, this light box exceeded all of my expectations because is has a very durable built, it's big enough for different size objects, it already comes with 2 backgrounds, and the best part - it includes 2 adjustable LED lights. The dimmable electric controller is very precise, the led lights use usb power, you get y-splitter so both can be connected from one outlet, and unlike some other light boxes you don't need to buy any external lights with expensive bulbs. Everything you need is already included, and this is a high quality and very affordable product which I can definitely recommend to everybody.

If you look closely in one of the photos, you can see the gaps at all corners. These gaps make it impossible to shoot from even a bit of distance, and you'll have to edit the black triangles out of every shot. The product is not made to close up without gaps , you would have to cut it (it's stiff plastic) and retape it all together. Also, it bows out on the sides, doesn't stay square.. I may return it for another one. Very unhappy with it.

The background doesn’t have a crease which is great and it is fairly easy to set up, but the holes don’t line up well causing the sides to slightly bend inward. The only solution was to put strong yarn or string through the holes on each side, tie, pull and teather to something - in this case my dining room chairs. I don’t know how the manufacturer can fix this unless they find a way to teather to a platform underneath or use another material? Anyway, I love it now that I fixed the sides from caving in. The background, size and lights are a big plus!

The photo box has a wonderful results. It comes with 2 different backdrops black and white (see my pictures).Setup is straightforward and fairly easy. I had a bit of an issue getting the holes to line up to get the box to stand up.The lights are pretty high quality and the fact that they are dim-able is great. The magnet design is perfect for the lights to set up for the effect you want. The single usb power for the lights also works great from your computer, battery pack or wall outlet.

I've always wanted a photo box, especially when I have things to list for sale on Amazon or eBay. However, I wasn't able to find the right combination of features. This "Light Tent" photo box comes packed with all the features I want at this point (until I become a regular seller). Summary of what I like and what could be part of the next generation:Pros- Easy to set-up and break down for storing (two easy to use screws hold the box together)- Comes with two LED USB strip lights that can be attached anywhere via magnets (pretty ingenious)- Light is super bright & dimmable (being dimmable helps with certain types of materials that will be photographed)- The hole on top of the box is very helpful in getting a top down photo without reflections / noise / shadows, etc.- Comes with two backings making it easy to adjust for contrast and using Photoshop to edit out or add whatever color you want- Pretty ample space. I was concerned about the size of the items that would fit in the box, but surprisingly, it can hold pretty large itemsCons- Putting together the box required a little bit of trial and error to get the hole aligned and also making sure the box stayed a box shape. Once put together, though, it was fine.- The hole on top of the box is great, but if it were adjustable, might be good to accommodate for different types of photographic lenses.Nice to have for future generations- The ability to rotate the item automatically inside the box for 360 type photos- The ability to have different color temperatures (Kelvin) of lightIn my photos you can see what comes with the kit (in real life) and a sample photo of an item I put in the box. I actually lit the USB lights using my external power bank - however it does come with a 2 in 1 USB combiner so you can just plug it into one USB power adapter / external power source.

I am incredibly disappointed with this. I was so excited because the reviews were good. But I've done everything will these lights and moving them multiple places trying to get it. But I'm STILL having to spend hours editing my photos.... I wish I could return it.
