Theses are great!
These gloves kept my fingers warm on a below freezing morning walking dogs at the shelter. Iâve previously had frostbite, so Iâm susceptible to painful fingers in the winter months. Got these gloves for wet, cold days and was not disappointed. The long cuff, cincheable even, made me comfortable when it warmed up and started to rain. Good buy!

Waterproof! Warm! Way better than expected!
so these are a different kind of waterproof. They are waterproof at your hand but not on the outside. They can get wet like a sponge but your hand never gets wet. There is some kind of waterproof lining inside between your hand and the outside. Thatâs why you see all of these different reviews were people say itâs not waterproof or it is waterproof. Theyâre talking about two different things. Yes, it will soak up water like a sponge. But, your hand will not get wet inside. I had these out snowboarding in the rain the other day. They got the ultimate test. I thought they were going to suck but my hands stayed warm and dry. And thatâs all that really matters. I just dried them out on the dashboard by the defroster on the way home. Much better than I thought they were going to be actually. Good value.

Nice warm mittens
I normally wear a women's extra large glove or mitten, but it's hard to find ones that are actually large enough and not tight. I got the large / extra large size in these mittens and there is plenty of room in them. I tried them out today in 28 degree weather for about 75 minutes, and they kept my hands toasty warm. They have an extra long cuff with an adjustable strap at the wrist, which helps keep your wrist warm as well. They are very soft on the inside. There is also a small zippered pocket on each mitten where you could fit a key or a credit card. You can't really hold anything or use your fingers to do anything while wearing these - they are strictly good for keeping your hands warm. The price was much better than some comparable mittens. Would definitely buy them again.

surprised by the quality
I bought these a year ago and forgot I had them. We went skiing this past weekend and my hands stayed warm...sometimes they were hot actually. Temps stayed 0-4deg C....the cuffs go up very far so that's nice for tucking in the jacket sleeves. However, like other mittens, it's hard for the second mitten to go on so get some help if you can. I have typically liked the glove liner inside the mitten (we have burton mitts also), but i find these warmer...and not too difficult for turning inside out for drying (although mine weren't wet inside at all). I had thought to keep these as a backup to my Burton's, but I feel like I may use these as my primary and save the Burton's for backup. For skiiers and snowboarders, you need waterproofing...these did great. I will keep both because I feel like if the temperature was any warmer, my hands might sweat and be uncomfortable. I typically like to take the mitts off and use the liner for checking my phone or taking pictures or videos so the Burtons are better in that situation. However, if it were just a matter of keeping my hands warm in cold temps, I would rather defer the picture taking to someone else and just keep my hands inside the mitts :) The coldest we've skiied in was -10Celcius with wind. My toes were so cold I couldn't really think about the fingers ~ but next time we do I will choose these over the Burtons.

Good, warm mittens!
The thumbs of the mittens initially felt a little tight, but once I got outside and started moving, I didn't even think about it. I have Raynaud's syndrome (circulation disorder) and wore them out shoveling in subzero temperatures in Minnesota, and they kept my hands warm, so I was pretty pleased. I really like the soft, fleecy inside and I appreciate the extended length so that I don't have a gap between the mittens and my coat. I would recommend!

Exactly what I wanted.
I haven't used the mittens yet but they are just what I want to have when it's time to shovel snow.

I loved them untilâŚ
If you are just playing In the snow or walking the dog, these are great. For outdoor work use, get a different mitten. They were very warm and waterproof until the seam at the top of one came apart after about 2 weeks. This was disappointing because one of them is no longer waterproof. Also, the waterproofing material is very thin and a hole could easily be poked through it. I would love to have these in a heavier duty mitten because I really like them.
