I've never had this to compare with anything authentic but I do enjoy this. Flavors are quite bold and ingredients seem fresh. I tried this on chicken as it gives a nice neutral canvas to try the blend. I'm quite happy to have this among my spice cabinet.

This Rudca Food, Kharcho-Suneli dried spice has a really great authentic curry flavor. It contains salt but isn't overly salty. The ingredients are really good. The fragrance of this spice is amazing. The Value is Okay!

My husband grew up all over the world, from west Africa to Paris, and everywhere. Now living in the US, he has a pretty refined palette for various types of cuisines. He actually said Georgian was one he hadn't tried before, much to my surprise! That didn't slow him down from a quick Google search. He saidthe flavor makes him think of like a cross between some of the African cuisine he used to and Indian.. with its strong curry notes.He made a stew using this, and it was quite incredible! While it's flavorful, he added fresh jalapenos to the dish, and it still wasn't very spicy, so if you like spice, you'll probably need to add that yourself. This was one of those meals, that was so unlike any other I've had. Pretty great spice blend that I'm pretty sure we will experiment with for a while!Now, I want to mention, the foil packet. Wasn't the easiest to open.. the notches aren't in the right spot, so I had to cut with scissors to get it opened.Compared to other spices, this doesn't come with much, but I find the price to be fair. Most other spices I have gotten are around the $15 range and include a slightly larger quantity.If you're adventurous in the meals you make, definitely don't pass this one up!

I’m a big fan of spices and seasonings from all regions and was interested in something different. I don’t have a lot of experience with food or seasonings from the east European/ west Asian countries so I didn’t know how this would taste. (There are a lot of different culinary influences in that region) I knew it was going to be savory so I roasted red and green peppers with onions in butter with salt and this delightful addition to my spice rack. There is a nice aromatic curry like smell with a touch of pepper on the back. It provides a dense and savory flavor that does not overwhelm the palate and enhances the flavor of the vegetables. There was a wee bit of heat trying to poke its head out, but stayed muted. I was hoping for more in the heat department as my only other experience with Georgian food was quite a bit more exciting on the Scoville scale. I want to be more descriptive than it is very much like a traditional yellow curry, but that’s exactly what I’m getting out of it. I enjoyed it very much and can’t wait to use it again.

First, my family is from Louisiana and french blood is running all through these veins. Therefore, everything we cook around here is influenced by my heritage. No, not everything we cook has to have spice at all,I'm not even a fan of spice food. However, my wife is from Ohio and eats things spicier than I do, to be perfectly honest.Now, this is a very unique international spice, that could be used in just about everything, to change things up a bit. We have only used it in a soup so far and we love it. If you are going to try out something for the first time, slowly sprinkle into a soup for testing. We did, we liked it, and we will be back for more.One huge complaint and I think many others would agree is that, just put it in a cheap plastic or glass shaker bottle of some sort. The presentation is better and opening your product isn't a job in itself. Overall, A- product

I love to cook and especially to explore new foods and flavors. This spice mix is new to me so I was very eager to try it. It comes in a small 1.78 oz pack but spice don't weigh much. Love that the pack is resealable to keep in the freshness and for storage. I added these spices to a stew I found online. It was very flavorful and enjoyed by all of the family. It did have a small amount of heat but nothing to even worry the kids about. It reminded me of a mild curry so I served it with rice. I felt that if it was too spicy for the little ones that you could add something to calm it down, potatoes or bread. Looking forward to making Georgian Soup next.

I like trying new flavors and this was a good one...I judge everything on how it tastes on a burger, and this has A good flavor and made my burgers taste slightly hot with a Smokey flavor...for me its a good one.
