Product Description          The Classidur Universal Primer Xtrem is a stain blocking waterbased, adhesion primer coat for universal use. Suitable for interior and exterior use Use : Anchoring base on wood, on old coherent paint, glass, non-ferrous metals, and with pre-test on plastics and UPVC material and plastified, lasured or vernished supports. As a stain blocking primer before applying any type of current single-component water or solvent-based finish. Properties: • excellent stain blocking (tannin, nicotine, soot, dried water marks etc.) • excellent adhesion • compatible with all current single-component finishes • fast drying (can be recoated after 4 to 6 hours) • interior/exterior use • can be tinted with ClassiMix or universal tinting pastes             Box Contains          1x 750 ml

Fantastic primer for kitchen doors before painting. I must say what a super base to my kitchen doors before I painted them.

I have just got around to using this primer on a birch-laminated bed that I wanted to paint white. It's adhesive and coverage qualities are excellent although I've yet to find out how well the paint layer will wear over time. For now, I'd say it's the best primer (for difficult surfaces) I've come across.

Highly recommended. Will be my first choice as a first coat primer/sealer. Used on untreated/unsealed thick MDF sheeting before and oil-based top coat.
