Skin Grip Adhesive Patches Compatible with Dexcom G7 &Stelo CGM with Cutout

The only patches I use for my insulin pump and Dexcom sites. They fit well, are easily stretched if needed, and sticks well (I use an adhesive wipe before applying and it sticks all 10-days for my Dexcom 99% of the time.) soft and comfortable to wear on skin. Easy to apply. Residue can be difficult to remove without UniSolve wipes but they work for me every time so no complaints. Wish they were cheaper as I buy a lot of them, but understand the costs of a business.

I genuinely like these patches the colors look a lot darker in the photos, but in real life, they’re actually pretty light and pastel. (pastel pack) the adhesive is pretty good. I’ve had no problems with the Peeling around the edges but as someone who takes two showers a day with hot water, it tends to fray, but not as much to the point where it’s ugly looking or annoying. i’d recommend it to every diabetic out there it’s small and it’s not as big as the other stickers I’ve been putting on! and it’s one of those stickers that you have to peel all four sides which tends to get tedious, but it works well! hope all you guys dealing with this disease are doing well! we got this!❤️

Just use what Dexcom provides as these are subpar at best. I’ve tried them multiple times (I must be insane as I expect different results each time) and in less than 12 hours time the edges are peeling away. For context, I shaved the arm area where the sensor was inserted. I used several alcohol wipes to clean the area for maximum adhesion.i washed my hands to ensure that they were as clean as possible. I inserted the sensor. I followed the instructions provided by the manufacturer. This was at 9AM this morning. It’s now 5:50PM and the edges have separated from my skin. It’s not a small amount - in some places it is to the sticker of the sensor. This is my third attempt. I’m now donating these to my local trash heap. My rating: this is a product of the lowest quality. I’m going to stick with the patch that Dexcom provides as they tend to last me about 3-4 days before the edges begin to peel away. On top of that, just getting the patch in place is excruciating. The process is extremely complicated and may require several patches/tries to get it right. It’s frustrating and wasteful. Disappointment is a given. I was thinking that these would be as strong as IV patches but boy was I wrong. Immediately I went to Dexcom for more patches as while they may be revealing they are functional. If I were to make this product better, I’d likely copy the Dexcom design in terms of having a stronger backing on the top part to keep the adhesive patch in tact during placement. As it stands these somewhat bend in the center, exposing the flaws of its design. I’d also consider higher quality and medical grade adhesives that stick. I shouldn’t have to be double-jointed or require assistance to place the patch over my sensor. In my most elegant and careful of movements these tend to fold in the center. There is also an element of static electricity to them which can repel the placement even with surgical hands. This leads me to conclude that they likely weren’t made in a medical grade facility. Questionable so be warned. I’m all for supporting small business, but if the quality sucks I’m out. Besides scotch tape is much cheaper. However if you need some extra lift, the wings these create may help.

Best brand of Dexcom patches and the only ones I buy. They stay on, don’t leave skin reactions and my son loves the all black look.

Have purchased these 3 times. They adhere well. The only issue I've had is that the 2nd batch I had some difficulty pulling off the green outer tab, in that it broke trying to peel it off (often in several small bits). I would then have to pick at it several times to remove it. The rest of the outer seal came off easily. No issues with the 1st and 3rd package.

The hole for the sensor is a little too big for the Dexcom G7, I accidentally knocked my sensor on my door frame and the little layer of adhesive on the actual sensor came up from under the patch because of how large the hole is. So far I have used two though they do for the most part last the whole 10 days I wish it was a snugger fit to the sensor so that it tacks better to the sensors own little layer of adhesive. The patch I have on now is on day 9 and it doesn’t even look like it’s holding anything. I worked out and showered every day so I definitely did put it to the test and i started seeing lifting and fraying of the edges around day 6. And lastly the adhesive backing has a 4 part peel and it’s very awkward to put on. The picture is from day 9.

Warning: I write long reviews. TL;DR: Pros: - Strong hold that doesn’t hurt to remove, even given how small the patches are. - Handles sweat, swimming, jet skis, tubing, and showers without lifting. - Gentle on dry skin; no pain on removal, and holds up well against frequent lotion use. - Compact size. Secure without adding unnecessary bulk to already-visible equipment. - No painful peeling, minimal residue, and what’s left scrubs off easily. - Easy to align straight, fits the sensor cleanly with no folds or creases. - No barrier patch needed. - Applies right over the stock adhesive sticker for extra security, no adhesion issues doing so. Cons: - Application itself is tricky, though that’s more a Dexcom placement-guideline issue (back of arm) than a Skin Grip flaw. - Fabric is thin and stretches easily if you’re not careful removing it. - backing is hard to remove without pulling what’s already applied of the patch back off. Skin Grip is the best it gets for diabetic equipment security. The patches are a little difficult to apply but that’s not Skin Grip’s fault. The problem is that Dexcom requires these to be applied in the back of the arm which is a really hard place to reach and to see. Clearly it becomes a challenge to apply these within that guideline. The adhesive is strong, but not so strong that it hurts to take off, especially with how small these are. This is important to me because I’m very active and I sweat a lot, so durability is key. I live on a lake so I spend a lot of time swimming, tubing, on the jet skis, in the water, etc., which is another huge pro to these. I’ve had other patches that immediately fall off during these activities, especially the rougher ones. I don’t have that issue with these. Same goes for the shower. I have dry skin. Two things with that - it doesn’t hurt or feel like I’m ripping skin off when I change these, and I also have to lotion frequently. We all know that the oils in lotion quickly and easily make the adhesive ineffective. It still will with these, but not so easily as other similar products. I also really like how small these are. They work incredibly well without taking up any more real estate than they need to. The equipment we use is already ostentatious enough. We really don’t need to draw any more attention to it than is absolutely necessary. It doesn’t hurt to remove. That’s a big deal because some of them just do. I don’t have issues with peeling around the edges. I use the 10 day, but I’d wager they’d last just as well with the 15 day sensors. It also doesn’t leave much adhesive residue behind and what is left scrubs off really easily. I’m really anal about alignment, etc etc, and these are easy to put on straight and they fit the sensor just perfectly which also makes me happy. The patches that cover the entire sensor don’t cover without folds and creases which drives me insane. These work just as well without pissing us sensory folks off. One of the biggest reasons I like these is that I don’t need a barrier patch. I use Skin Grip for my Dexcom G7, Tandem Mobi and, infusion set, and previously my Omnipod. It doesn’t get any better than this. One thing to note - the patch fabric is very thin so it stretches out easily. If you’re like me, just find the way that works best for you to remove the backing in such a way that it doesn’t stretch out too bad. They also apply right over the stock adhesive patch. I was worried that this adhesive over the smooth plastic material of the stock adhesive sticker would cause problems for this patch to stick, but it doesn’t, so I use both for double security. Skin Grip is as good as it gets for diabetic equipment security. It holds through sweat, swimming, and showers, doesn’t fight with dry skin or lotion, and skips the need for a barrier patch entirely, all while staying compact. The only real friction is Dexcom’s tricky arm-placement requirement and a backing that needs gentle handling, neither of which is really Skin Grip’s fault. If you’re active or tired of bulky, irritating patches, this is the one to get.

I read some of the reviews and was a little concerned about how well the Skin Grip patches would stay on. I've gone through two so far and they have stayed on for the entire 10 days without issue. I really didn't have any fraying or skin irritation either. I take a shower, clean the skin with some alcohol prep, prep the area with Skin Tac then attach the G7 to the back of my arm. I am extremely happy with these keeping my Dexcom G7 on the back of my arm. My only complaint is how to put them on. It could be a learning curve, but it can be challenging to remove the backing to adhere to the skin. But other than that, these are great.
