Definitely worth buying to make sushi at home. We tried using grease proof paper... Not a good idea. This kit was brilliant, even ended up buying another for my mother after she used ours.

Does the job well

Sturdy, good quality, works well and easy to use.

I opened the sealed packet. Inside are 2 wooden spoons and 2 mats.For some strange reason the mats aren't identical.The green mat in the picture I posted feels a lot better quality and thicker bamboo, whereas the other mat doesn't feel quite as robust, it feels very cheap.I'm sure they'll both equally as well, but I thought I would highlight there are different types of mat that isn't in the for sale discription.

We have used the mats to roll up sushi. We used plastic wrap on them to keep them clean and make clean up a lot easier. The rice paddle was nice and cleans up great. The chopsticks are very pretty.

Depuis que nous avons ce kit, mon mari s'est découvert une passion pour les makis et ce n'est pas moi qui vais m'en plaindre.Il a réussi dès la première utilisation (après avoir visionné des tutos) et selon lui c'est très simple d'utilisation.En tout cas le résultat est top et on se régale.
